“Horus Guest House Pyramid view Giza”

The beds were lovely so comfortable and with really thick pillows . Clean bedding . Hot shower no issues with pressure. Shampoo and body wash in bathroom along with toilet roll just ask for more if needed. No tea or coffee / kettle in room but can have it with the breakfast. Water dispenser in breakfast area for free water to fill your bottles up. Ok so we got harrassed 1st 2 days say no and the locals do walk away after this we felt safe walking about the area.. The view from the hotel OMG !! Waking up to see the pyramids! . The Sphinx gate entry to the GIza plateau is 5 mins walk. There are buses to takwme you around the area Hop on Hop off. This made it so easy . But .. get the green bus then if you want to carry on change at what we thought was the end of the line as it says exit and a carpark .. then get on the yellow bus to take you to 9 pyramids lounge . Again the view!! the food was tasty not expensive 32.00 3 mains 5 cokes . We had 1 excursion with the hotel this was to go to Saqqura (sorry cant spell) and the Egyptian Civilisation Museum. What a day Abdul was our driver he was fantastic so helpfull he is learning to be a tourist guide so just starting out but please do ask for him at the hotel to drive you. He waited with us came into the museum walked us around the older pyramid went in to some tombs. VERY HOT take water cover your head and this is Oct 25. The roads are bonkers no chance any one unless Egyptian could drive on those roads lol the lanes mean nothing, drive with no lights at night families 1 adult 3 children on 1 small motor bike but this is Egypt we in England are so controlled over Health and Safety keep this in mind while there anything goes. The egyptians are lovely people eveyone shouting Welcome as you walk by.We stayed 5 days we got to do what we wanted see. Inc the GEM we used uber.. Quads . So easy to organise yourself we didnt opt for a guide .

“Scammers, avoid it!!”

We had informed the hotel that we would be there early in the morning as our flight was arriving late. They confirmed that there was no problem but when we arrived there was no room available as they had overbooked. They still forced us to pay for all the nights even though there was no room. Finally at 7 in the morning the next day after 3 hours of waiting at the reception they took us to another branch of the same hotel. 30 min after we settled in the second hotel they knocked on our door and asked us for more money to let us stay, so we left of course without any refund. Also both were in a bad and dangerous location and were not clean.

Great view. Good breakfast. Pleasanta4ip staff. All was good.

Services politeness

The reception was courteous, breakfast was good, and the price is reasonable compared to other budget hotels. However, I recommend that management focus on the point mentioned below to improve service quality and build lasting guest loyalty.

Another wonderful stay. From the warm welcome with juice and water to the calming, well-prepared Room 8, everything felt just right. When a minor issue occurred in Room 7, I was promptly moved — special thanks to Mr. Abdel Rahim and the reception team for their swift and thoughtful response. A special mention goes to Miss Habiba — professional, confident, kind, and the ideal face to represent the hotel. Her presence elevated the entire experience from the very beginning. Mr. Mohamed on the night shift was equally impressive — attentive, courteous, and always ready to help. Checkout was seamless — no delays or inspections, just hand over the key and go. That level of trust truly makes you feel at home. Service and breakfast quality remain unmatched for the price — a rare gem among budget hotels.

The staff made my trip all the sweeter. Excellent people skills and attitude from the girls at reception, and they offered to help in any way they could. Very clean rooms, lovely breakfast and great rooftop 😀

Giza pyramid is so close that it takes few minutes to reach their by walking and nice sunset view of pyramid from terrace.
