A comfortable stay and staying overnight we could enjoy the village of Cain. Great shower after an incredible walk through the Cares Gorge.

You simple my cannot get a better location in the Picos. Surrounded by towering peaks, next to a gushing river and just metres from one of the best canyon walks I’ve ever done.

A lovely place to stay and the staff were lovely.

Simple and very clean hotel with a restaurant. Good base for walking the Ruta del Cares. Currently and sadly part of the route is closed due to this summer wildfires but the nicest part of the route imo is in this part of Cain which is 4km one way and then back. Still a nice time to visit because this small village is just magical being surrounded by the rocks. Free Parking is easy but it was also shoulder season.

The room had a good size, we had nice view and the location is great. Very good value for money in low season.

The location was perfect. It is right at the start/end of the Ruta del Cares. The owners/managers were lovely and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was also great.

Rooms were fabulous, comfy beds and pillows. The front room had a porthole window that opened with stunning mountain views. The 20€ 3 course dinner with wine was stunning value for money. Choice of 3 for each course, starters especially good. Beer on the terrace after a walk halfway to Poncebos and back(4 hours with a lunch, provided by the small but excellent shop where they offer free parking as well.) Breakfast was simple but freshly squeezed orange juice, home made croissants and pain eu chocolate along with large slices of toasted local bread.. Perfection. The couple that run this place work all day and even after a late finish on Saturday night with a large group they were both up at 8am working non stop. Massive respect to them. Not much English spoken so google translate plus GCSE Spanish from my daughter plus some duo lingo and evening classes for me allowed us to get through. The shower/mini bath combo made me smile.....Don't forget to book a table for dinner/lunch as this place was very popular.

Fantastic location (beautiful views of the mountains), near the river, friendly and helpful host, good food. Located very close to beautiful trailheads, shop nearby.

A lovely room for 3 with gorgeous view out into the village and mountains. The host was very patient with my poor Spanish! We had a quiet restful evening before walking the Cares Trail.

Fabulous location and a very comfortable bed.

Very nice establishment in equally nice village at the end (or beginning) of the Cares trail. The bed was comfortable, the restaurant served excellent food in a relaxing atmosphere. I should very much like to stay here again, should the opportunity arise.
