“Idylic”

Made to feel at home by owners straight away. Lovelly accomadation in idylic location close to the beech. Loved the hammock on the porch.

The owners and staff are extremely nice and helpful, the comfortable cottages with all the amenities are surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers and birds (every morning we had breakfast on the terrace and watched hummingbirds and sometimes a toucan flew by). Cahuita is a very friendly and relaxed place, the beaches are fantastic and the national park with other beautiful beaches is easily accessible.

A perfect location a few minutes walk from the beach. Amazingly well maintained garden. Marice and Luciano were so welcoming hosts, looking after all our needs, explaining nearby facilities. They offered us pipa frío and bananas from their garden. The house was comfortable for four people, with a very spacious and well equipped bathroom. We didn't miss anything in the kitchen. There was also a convenient outside sink for washing swimsuits and an outside shower. The terrace was very pleasant. We would like to stay longer there.

Marice & Luciano were so excellent hosts. They are so supportive and just wonderful. We loved our lodge with animals around (agutis, colibris, squirrels, frogs...) just a small walk from the beach and the village.

We loved our stay here! The gorgeous cabin was very clean, the owners are very helpful and kind, the grounds are really, really pretty and the location was perfect for us. It also feels very safe.

Staying here was an absolute pleasure! The hosts are incredibly kind and always ready to help. The cabins are spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. And the garden? Simply stunning—worth a visit for its beauty alone!

Comfortable wooden houses in a beautiful garden, where in addition to dogs and cats, you can see different kinds of animals if you watch quietly early in the morning. I photographed these animals while sitting on the terrace.

We loved it here (and even extended our stay)! Well equipped kitchen, very clean, owners are very friendly and helpful, we felt very safe. We travel with small kids and they loved it too. It is very close to playa negra, a couple of restaurants are close and about 15 min walking to the center. Walking distance (20 min) to National Park. The outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach is a plus! All in all a great place!

Wonderful hosts and lovely dogs and cats. The setting is amazing, small wooden lodges in a beautiful, tropical garden. 2 minutes walk to the beach and local restaurants. Easy to walk into Cahuita and the national park. Lodge very comfortable, clean and equipped.

A very warm welcome. Luciano provided a map and location of best shops and restaurants. Marice was very friendly and introduced us to the dogs and cats. The cabin was very well equipped and comfortable with everything we needed. The beach was very close and it was an easy walk into town and to the national park. There are very good restaurants on the coast road a short walk away.

The house was small but very well equipped and clean. The property is very well maintained and private. The location is excellent at less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and an excellent restaurant.

“Best Place to stay in Chauita”

Very nice bungalow with full Equipment kitchen and big bathroom. Silent place and a nice garden where you can see different kinds of animal in the morning when you have breakfast on the terrace. The owner life there and when you need anything the help you with all. It Was one of the best place in CR where we stay. Chauita is a traditionell place and ypu have nice Restaurants next to the bungalow orjust 15min the walk to the Center. Puerto Viejo is much expensive and to bussy with a lot of people. Good for visit for one day.

Beautiful Garden, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. The host is very friendly and it was super clean. Choose a room with an AC it gets very warm and humid.
