“Lovely house in a t ropical paradise”

Staying at Casa Katharina was a delight! This small house is a gem – meticulously clean, beautifully maintained and with clever use of space. We especially appreciated the well-stocked outdoor kitchen and the beautiful garden, which is a tropical paradise. Katharina was a wonderful host! Communication was seamless, and with her warm personality she made our stay stress-free along all dimensions. Thank you so much for a truly great experience!

The accommodation was extremely gorgeous and amazing (a pittoresk bungalow just next to national park and just 10min walk from the beach and from the center of Cahuita. There was a perfect equipped outdoor kitchen and Katharina lives in the bungalow next and when I had a question etc, she was helping and giving recommendations. Totally recommendable!

Great place. Very nice hosts, clean and comfortable, modern bathroom and fully equiped kitchen. Best thing is the garden, where you can see tons of animals!

The location was perfect everything was close. The entrance to the national park was just around the corner. The mepe bus station was near by as well. We loved sitting outside and watching the monkeys, birds and butterflies. The property is gorgeous. The host lives on the same property. She is very helpful and nice. Thanks Katharina.

The location is perfect; a short walk from the entrance to the national park. There is a really beautiful garden with many different flowers and trees. It was lovely to see the birds, butterflies, monkeys and other animals around the house during the day. The house is very new with a high standard. Katharina is very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend a stay at her place.

It was so lovely, immaculate and had everything you needed

It’s amazing accommodation, photos on the website don’t give it justice. The place is kept in immaculate condition, well equipped accommodation . The place is gated with the owner leaving nearby. We felt very safe during our stay. Ample of wildlife: Aracari, howling monkeys, agouti to name a few. If you are planning to visit this part of the Costa Rica don’t hesitate , you won’t regret it. Thank you Katharina for wonderful time!

“A slice of heaven.”

Literally everything about this property is perfect. The aircon is cold. The room and bathroom are modern and spotlessly clean. The outside kitchen area is fully equipped for basic cooking. The WiFi is fast. The garden is stunning. We were visited by howler monkeys, capuchins, A sloth, woodpeckers and loads of butterflies amongst other things. It is so peaceful and quiet we hardly left. Then there is Katherina, the host. She made the holiday with her help and her invitation to dinner. I honestly think we chose the best place to stay in the whole of Costa Rica! OH I nearly forgot, there's a jacuzzi that you can also make use of by asking!

We liked everything - our wonderful host Katharina, who created this exceptional apartman house - immaculately clean, modern design, practical in every way - the roofed terrace with hammocks and a fully equipped kitchen - the garden with an abundance of wildlife - butterflies on the flowers, monkeys in the canopy, to name a few

“Secret haven in central cahuita”

Perfect little secret haven in a lush beautiful place in cahuita. Shiny clean, well equipped and with a lots of monkeys passing close by and literally coming into our kitchen. The nicest host Katharina made us feel like home and even helped us get in touch with a doctor when one of us got sick. Also includes a private jacuzzi which was a nice surprise!
