“Beautiful location, the cabin is not safe and functional”

Absolutely beautiful place with most beautiful surroundings one can emagine. Clean, comfortable private home just near national park. Quiet and safe place, short walk to the beach and main street with restaurants. Nice bathroom, warm shower, kitchenette equipped with everything whats necessary, comfortable bed. We would definitely came here once again and stayed longer

We were completely satisfied with your three-week stay. The equipment of the cottage in which we stayed corresponds to the given category and is functional. The owner is very friendly and helpful. But what is absolutely exceptional is the location of the accommodation. The cottage is in a beautiful garden on the border of the town and the Cahuita National Park. This means that in a few minutes you can reach a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants. At the same time, you are a short distance from several beautiful and (in July) almost empty beaches and a tropical rainforest. As a bonus, capuchin and howler monkeys roam around the cottage almost daily, but you can also see agoutis, toucans and hummingbirds there. It's like you are staying in the middle of a zoo.

“An amazing stay”

An amazing cabin right next to the National park. We loved our stay here. When we weren't exploring the National Park and the beaches, we loved spending time in the day relaxing on the hammock watching all the birds, butterflies, fireflies, monkeys and all the other amazing wildlife that came into the garden. It was the find of our holiday. We would love to go back and spend more time here. Monic, the host, was very kind and always at hand if we needed any help. We would recommend doing the night tour and snorkeling. It is also a 5 minute walk to the bus station and had everything we needed and more!

“Great location, well equipped, cozy atmosphere”

The house is well equipped and the atmosphere is great if you are looking for a unique (but still comfortable) jungle experience. The national park is just behind the house, monkeys, colobris and other cute animals were regular visitors. It is close to the town, so you can easily find everything you need.

“Lovely stay in nature, close to National Park.”

Location fantastic virtually in the National Park with daily visits from monkeys. Studio had everything we needed for 3 nights - good kitchen facilities. Buying fresh eggs from neighbour who had free range chickens roaming around. Clean and comfortable. Terrace areas to sit and watch wildlife. 6 minute walk into town and the National Park entrance. 5 minute walk to supermarket and bus station.

“Private Oasis but Near Park and Town”

This was my third time staying here, second time in the studio. I have not stayed anywhere else in town since finding this place, and arranged my travel plans around when this place was available. Very nice host, lives on property, available but not intrusive. Almost daily saw a dozen or more whiteface monkeys or howler monkeys in the trees by my cabana, along with 2 agoutis. Very scenic, peaceful, away from town noise but close to town and park.

“Top location in Cahuita”

The studio is simple but well equiped with a small kitchen. You can open the big doors and watch the wildlife from the room or the porch. As it is located at the border of the park, you can see monkeys, birds and also agoutis were walking in the garden. There is no airco but the fan does his job and there is a good mosquito net.

Very comfortable, quiet location with only the wild animals making any noise! Felt very private, and the cabin had everything we needed.

“Close to nature, beautiful jungle house!”

We spent 5 nights here and loved every moment! Your garden is the national park so be prepared for lots of animals sounds! We only cooked a small breakfast during our stay but had everything we needed and only a short walk to the town of cahuita. Our host Monica was so helpful with booking us on tours( book the night tour with Chris!!!) she was very prompt with answering any questions we had and lives close by, Thankyou Monica! The property had everything we needed for our stay, and loved being in the jungle. We hope to return one day! Jo&Josh

“Excellent cabin, location and very helpful host!”

We had an amazing time here in Cahuita - the cabin was clean, comfortable and had excellent facilities for our 8 night stay. It was in an amazing location just a short walk from the village and on the edge of the national park with monkeys frequently visiting the garden. Monica was also an incredibly friendly and helpful host - thank you!

Very nice house , clean and comfortable

Fantastic location, about 200m walk from the national park entrance. Felt very at one with nature, monkeys in the trees around the house were very fun. Super helpful host who had recommendations for snorkelling and other activities.

The spot was so peaceful, the only noise was from the wild life around us. The location was so close to the national park and beach. Our host was welcoming and accomidating, will stay there again if I find mysef in cahuita!
