Beautiful location. Spacious and comfortable. Yvonne, the host, was so lovely and welcoming. This was a perfect accommodation in beautiful grounds. We were also met by a sloth in the car park which just added to the magic of the place.

The garden is great! In the middel is place when you can boil the water, use microwave, blender and toster. I really like the birds songs in the morning.

“A very good and affordable stay”

We stayed at Cabinas Tito and overall it’s fantastic value for money. If you’re visiting Cahuita on a budget, this is definitely a strong option. For the price, you get a lot. There is an outdoor kitchen with almost all the equipment you need, plus air conditioning and WiFi. The kitchen facilities cover most basic needs, and everything works as it should. We paid only $82 for one night for 4 people, which is really a very good price. For budget travelers, it’s hard to beat.

Great location, friendly host, regular cleaning and excellent kitchen facilities. All the little homey touches were appreciated.

“Best place in Costa Rica - incredible place!!”

This place is very luxury - the towels are 100% cotton, rooms get cleaned every day, bedding quality is up there too. Kitchen's are stocked with everything you could think of needing. We were given some bananas from the farm on one of the days - delicious. Everything was high end quality and absolutely beautiful here. You get so much privacy! You can walk to Playa Negra in under 10 minutes, Cahuita National Park in the other direction about 10 minutes and equally close to town and the supermarkets. The location couldn't be better. Coconut trees along the beach walks for free to take too! The complex is very secure and has secure parking. Everyone working there was amazingly kind and efficient. It's super relaxing to sit in the outdoor kitchen area in the mornings and watch nature just meters away from you! We saw poison dart frogs on two days and countless birds, constantly! At the reception desk they have a book exchange shelf! I cannot believe this place was the cheapest accommodation we've managed to get in all of Costa Rica and it was beyond a luxury experience!!!!! I'd come back just to stay here again for longer. Very magical and special.

Amazing garden with lush vegetation, lots of different flowers and plants, and therefore, lots of animals (e.g. dart frogs, various birds, iguanas and once in the evening also a sloth)... ideal for exploring. My cabin was decorated beautifully, had lots of space and a large veranda with a hammock and chairs for relaxing. Staff was also really friendly! Playa Negra (beach with black sand) is nearby which offers several bars and is a nice spot to spend time. If I return to Cahuita, I will definitely book here again if possible.

Super cozy cabins which make you feel like you’re living in the jungle with lots of animals. Apartments get cleaned every day with fresh towels! We loved it here! Super friendly staff:)

The sloth!!! We were so lucky. Otherwise the lady is nice.

Great spot! We had a wonderful time in these cabinas located right in the Jungle and very close to Caribean beaches.

“Brilliant good value stay with lots of wildlife”

Comfortable a/c huts in an extensive wonderful natural jungle garden. Helpful friendly staff. There are sloths in the trees, howler monkeys visit and colourful poison dart frogs hop around the grounds. It’s an easy 1 km walk to the park and shops. Has a well equipped communal cooking area with a kettle, microwave, electric fryer and slow cooker. Good car parking areas. There’s a big new supermarket (Super Negro) by the bus station, where there is an atm.

I really appreciated having air conditioning and a fridge. And I was positively surprised to even have a basic kitchen. The setting is lovely. Saw lots of humming birds and even toucans.

“Beautiful wild gardens”

Slightly tired looking cabins set in gardens on the edge of town. Our initial cabin was small, but included a veranda and kitchen. It was also close to the reception, so not the quietest. Unfortunately a small animal (bat, squirrel, rodent, ??) had invaded the roof space, keeping us awake all night. The next morning the owner kindly moved us to another cabin which was larger, and nicer and we were then able to sleep (until woken at daybreak by nearby howler monkeys). The online description of the place does not mention the amazing gardens- about a hectare (2 acres) of luxuriant tropical vegetation, abounding with birds, butterflies and of course the small green and black poison dart frogs found throughout the region.

We loved staying here in a little cabin in the beautiful garden, it was like being in the jungle! We saw green and black poison frogs, agouti, birds and butterflies. One morning I was woken by a strange sound, a low roar, Tito told me it was the potoo or ghost bird. The cabins were cleaned every morning.

Lovely cabin with outdoor kitchen (very well equipped) in a garden with a lot of animals to spot. Close to the beach (2 mins walk) and Cahuita NP entrance. Cleaned every day.
