“We loved staying here. It was our favourite accommodation in Costa Rica”

Fantastic grounds. We saw lots of wildlife from our cabin including frogs, agouti, toucans and monkeys. Fridge in the room was nice. The pool whilst not huge was great for a dip and somewhere nice to sit after being out during the day. Shared kitchen was good. Hostess was helpful and accommodating. We wished to stay for an additional night and this was easily arranged. We were able to store our luggage before checking in initially and whilst changing rooms.

We have been travelling for over 2 months across Central America and Costa Rica and this is by far the nicest place we have stayed. Surrounded by nature, beautiful gardens, loads of wildlife. Staff are brilliant an the bungalows have everything you need. Communal kitchen is a lovely touch, so you can make your own meals if you want, lots of equipment. The pool is lovely, small seating area and great for a cool off after a long day.

Nice clean pool, basic rooms but tidy. We saw sloths and frogs around the property which was great. The host Nuri was the highlight of this property though, she was so helpful and kind. Did a load of washing for us and help arrange a tour as well as helping us get into town to get food and cash when we had just arrived.

The staff was great and they even drove me to the bus station on the day of my departure, amazing! The pool is very nice after a day of hiking in the national park, you are surrounded by nature and might even see an iguana or coatis running around.

Lovely cabin in the jungle with a terrace to watch the monkeys and agouti. All very comfortable, large room with own fridge. Great to have shared kitchen facilities and, of course a swimming pool!

A peaceful stay with beautiful grounds and a pristine pool. Spacious, comfortable rooms with clean bathrooms, though no AC—just two fans per room. If you struggle with heat, consider other options. No breakfast provided, but Brigette’s next door offers a basic option. A 15-minute walk to town and the main track.

“Really beautiful place”

Such a beautiful spot! Sadly we were only there for one night, passing through, but it was really lovely. Big room, comfy beds with mosquito nets, good shower. You really feel like you're in the jungle. I saw two toucans in the morning, which was a definite bucket list animal for me. Really near the playa negra which is a beautiful beach. It's a little walk from the town - but we were transferred each way. Would definitely return!!

The cabins were great, very clean and the pool was a nice touch. They cleaned it every day and changed the sheets every second day. When we were leaving, we asked for taxi to get to the bus station and we were pleasantly surprised that it was covered by the property :) Lived the jungle feeling - saw few animals There is a shared kitchen you can cook in - had everything you need

“Wonderful oasis with tropical garden and pool”

Beautiful grounds and wonderful swimming pool. Lovely room and great shower. Near to the beach end of Cahuita and the great Reggae bar. A walk into town where the national park entrance is but not too far. Good kitchen facilities.

our cabin was like living in jungle with great amenities staff were great especialy Fernando the pool was perfect for us and a easy walk to bars and black sand beach we saw toocans frogs and agoutis

We really enjoyed our time in our cabin. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. There was abundant wildlife on the property. We saw more wildlife here than at the national park. We enjoyed this place more than staying in town because of the seclusion, privacy and quiet. The cabin was very cute and charming and the shower was nice. It was nice to have a fridge in the room as well as a shared kitchen to use.

The staff was flexible with a late check in, kind and generous with free fruit and a coconut. They cleaned the room daily and did laundry for us. And they found a red eye tree frog for us to observe when they realized I loved seeing all the animals on the property. It was clean, the WIFI worked strong in the room, two fans in the room kept us cool, the pool was great, we didn't see one mosquito here (mid-November) but the best part was all the animals on the property - a couple types of poison dart frogs, red-eye green tree frog, iguanas greeting us at the pool, agouti scampering about the grounds, various birds and more. I don't think they served breakfast which was fine. Next door was Bridgett's and they had some delicious breakfast options. It was about a ten minute walk to the town but only a couple minutes up the street from the beach and reggae bar. The best part of the location for us was it's setting in the woods where it was peaceful and we could see many animals right on the property.

We loved seeing and hearing the wildlife from our cabin. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool. It was a short walk to the beach where we were able to hire paddle boards / surfboards etc. We also had excellent food and drink at nearby bars/restaurants that were all welcoming and family friendly. Slightly longer walk into the town (about 20 minutes).
