Super clean, comfortable, safe, well-equipped and well-maintained. We loved our stay and would come back anytime. The hosts are super welcoming, went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic and helped us spotting wildlife.

“A drop of paradise”

If could give 11 I would. This is a little drop of paradise. Close to town but very quiet. Amazing wildlife in the garden. Agoutis, howler monkeys, frogs, sloths and loads of birds. Alex is super helpful and does tours himself. Room also comes with toaster, kettle, coffee machine, even a bread knife and board. Stay here instead of Porto Viejo.

Best place in Cahuita where we could spot green frogs and agouti. Very nice host.

Great location close to town and beach in lovely garden full of wildlife. Alex was easy to contact and very helpful. Well equipped.

Black and blue frogs , the cafe up the road next to the sea, an absolute must. Nice wildlife around the garden where the cabins are, saw beautiful iguanas, butterflies, howler monkeys and plenty different birds. It was a perfect way to end my stay.

We loved the abundant wildlife in the garden and the responsiveness of staff. The location is excellent for walking in the National Park, town or to the Player Negro.

Cabinas are very clean and well maintained. The garden is beautiful with a lot of animals (birds, monkeys, agoutis etc). Alex is super helpful. Location is good, with easy access to the beach and the national park. Especially if you have a bike, which can be rented onsite for a very fair price.

“Great stay close to nature!”

Alex was very welcoming and the whole setting was very lovely! They created a perfect spot on the Carribean coast. I loved exploring the garden with my kids, finding frogs and sloths and much more. Furthermore the cabin (morning glory) was very spacious and well set up.

Very convenient location in the centre of Cahuita. All key sights were within the walking distance.The host was very helpful and very responsive.

I love this place and definitely would like to come back there! :) Owners Laksmir and Alex are super kind, friendly and helpful. It was lovely to have some little chats with them and I'm thankful for their passion to the nature so they created such beautiful garden and let me know about animals that like to visit it :). It's very well located, near to the beach and to the national park. The place was big, comfy and very clear :). I definitely recommend it.

I wish I could extend my stay in Cahujita and enjoy this little paradise. I had my blur house in the middle of the jungle, where you can connect with the nature and wildlife but at the same time being so close to the Playa Negra (7-8 min) and to the main street (5 min) where you can find all the restaurants, bars and shops. The room was very spacious, clean, with the nice terrace and hammock and kind and very helpful staff. I highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to come back again! Thank you!

“Wildlife on your doorstep”

The location, in a peaceful garden close to Play Negra was fantastic. The array of birds and wildlife in a relatively small area was staggering. There are just a few apartments spread out amongst the grounds yet we saw over twenty species of birds in a couple of hours including toucans, hummingbirds and Montezuma oropendula. We also saw a mother and baby sloth in the tree above our room, howler monkeys, agouti and frogs! It's an easy walk to the national park and there's lots of restaurants within walking distance. The food truck close by was particularly tasty. There's also a large new looking supermarket nearby. The accommodation itself was great value for money. Having the outside sitting area meant we could still enjoy the wildlife when it was raining. We had a kettle, coffee maker and a small fridge as well as basic eating utensils, so it was perfect for preparing simple cold meals. The accommodation was very clean and smelt fresh which can be hard to maintain in the humid environment. The provision of a hammock and drying rack was appreciated. We also noticed they were doing some little renovations and taking steps to keep the place nice. Communication was warm and easy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Overall Cahuita was fantastic.
