Great place to stay in Cahuita! Very helpful staff who are happy to answer any question you might have and give great tips for exploring the area further, beyond the obvious highlights. They can help organize trips for you and are very friendly and flexible (was able to leave my car parked there a bit longer). The pool is lovely, clean and very refreshing after a hot day of traveling/hiking the NP, even saw some shooting stars from there. Quiet, spacious and cool room (AC is a gift at this time of year). The outside area with your own hammock is a wonderful little extra, surrounded by the lush greenery and beautiful flowers.

“Great guesthouse close to National Park entrance”

Wonderful family driven guesthouse very close in short walking distance to Cahuita National Park, Playa Blanca as well as Playa Negro. Free coffee was offered every early morning and every room has its own space in the kitchen fridge. Very clean with a small pool in the garden. Aircon and hot shower worked perfect. Pauline and Ben are so lovely hosts - thanks for a wonderful stay! ♥️

Few minutes walking from the park. Lovely stuff. Private nice room and hot water in the shower and free parking inside the place.

“Fabulous host, excellent location.”

Our very welcoming host Ben was always happy to help in any way he possibly could. It was the only property in Costa Rica where we had sufficient shelves and places to hang things in our room. The shared kitchen was well equipped and meant guests got to meet each other, nice atmosphere. We loved the pool for cooling off in the afternoon. Location was excellent for the national park, bus station, restaurants, supermarket and the town’s main street.

Everything was perfect! We had a room with sharing bathroom but the bathroom was next door and sharing with only one other room. There was a well-equipped kitchen and a small swimming pool available. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Nice small pool to dip in after a day in the national park. Nice staff, even after checkout we were allowed to use the pool and keep our bags at the reception. Kitchen is nice to cook. Air-conditioning in the room.

Big thank you to the managers, our journey has been exceptional definitely thanks to them and their advices. Room is clean, simple but all you need, hot water, right in the center, shared kitchen with good facilities, small attention they put a bed light on second night maybe after seeing I am a reader.

10/10. This place has the best value for money you can get in Costa Rica. The accommodation was super clean, beautiful, and very well maintained. The kitchen was extremely clean and very well equipped. Kim, who I believe is the manager, was unbelievably friendly and gave us so many great tips. Thanks to her, we even got to see three sloths. We felt very comfortable, welcome, and truly at home, and we would come back anytime. The location was also a huge highlight. Everything is within easy walking distance, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Both the national park and the supermarket were less than a five minute walk away.

I felt 100% comfortable during my whole stay of 10 nights at this perfect place to be while visiting Cahuita. Its central but its calm, its very clean, rooms get cleaned daily and strictly and towels and bed linen are changed regularly. The kitchen has everything you need and offers genoursly basic stuff like oil, salt pepper ect. Your first coffee in the morning is ready before you wake up (if you want), you dont have to care where and how to get it. How comfortable is that to start the day for early beginners? Anyway, what makes this place so special is not the nice and clean ambiente which even includes a little pool in the garden. Its the host: Kim. From day one when you arrive she gives you all the information you need to move independently. She exactly knows what guest needs and recognises different needs in different guests and always ready to help out with her huge knowledge about whole Cahuita and of course also other places. With passion she shows you her favorite animals in her garden when its already dark. I miss the time at this place already. It was very special. Thank you Kim. Greetings to Flo, Vito and Sherlock. Oh and by the way, i wanted to mention the extraordinary wood cover around the pool that was constructed during my stay. The worker managed to create some art at the corners instead of leaving it in the curvy line it supposed to follow. I like it, its like Cahuita itself, a little crazy (in a good way). 

I liked my short stay and recommend. The hostel features a beautiful patio which makes the place extra cosy (and we spotted a sloth right there up in the trees that day). It’s conveniently located in close proximity to the bus station and only a short walk away from the national park. My room was simple, clean and affordable. The management was excellent! Kim and her partner are passionate about what they are doing and provided a lot of useful advice - thank you!

The location is really nice, close to the national park, stores, and restaurants. We wanted to ask if we could park our car there in the morning when we were going to the national park, and we were told that we could already get into the room, because it was ready already. Overall a great stay :)
