Overview
An outdoor swimming pool can be enjoyed in an elegant colonial-style mansion, 1 block away from the Wine Museum. All rooms have private balconies with garden views. Wi-Fi and private parking are free. Portal del Santo has an on-site organic garden, a small hot tub and a poolside sun terrace with open views of the Cafayate hills. The facade features an impressive sculpted wooden door. Spacious rooms at Portal del Santo are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV and feature seating areas with chic furniture. All rooms have a private bathroom, some with a bath tub. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the shaded terrace, with home-made jams, cheese and croissants. There is a common BBQ area. Downtown Cafayate is only 200 metres away and the scenic hill circuit is 5 km away. Car rental can be arranged.

“Perfect Place”
This place was located close to everything. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds were very good. Christian and his brother (owners)provided a great breakfast and offered lots of valuable information about the area. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was probably the best hotel we have stayed in Argentina so far. The room was large with a super comfy bed, breakfast was good with lots of home made treats. There is a nice pool area to sit round with a glass of wine.

“Outstanding!”
What a wonderful, genuine warm welcome and beautiful property located close to everything! Christian & Damian were fabulous hosts and the breakfast with home made and baked goodies was most delicious. This hotel offered everything and more than some supposed 5* I stayed in and I wished I had booked for more nights but hope to be back at some point! Lovely pool and jacuzzi too though I had no time to use them.

Family run hotel, which is a big plus. The owner, his brother and his daughter were all very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel has its lovely colonial charme and the room for the 4 of us was spacious and well equiped. The hotel is just wo blocks from the main square. We loved it, as you are a little out of the busy area, but you easily wlak all in the center and the retaurants. This helps special if you like to enjoy the local wines and you don't have to drive afterwards.
