The place was amazing. Celeste and Jean treated us incredibly well and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the location is beautiful, with stunning mountain views from both the room and the dining area. The room was very clean, the shower worked perfectly, the Wi-Fi was very fast, and everything was exactly as described. Having a parking space was also very convenient. We 100% recommend this place, and if we come back to Purmamarca, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much! :)

“Perfect stay”

Very lovely stay in Cafayate. After a long drive, arriving at El Descanso Cafayate felt like coming home. Everything about the place invites you to relax, and it’s the perfect spot to unwind for a while. The hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was excellent as well. For us, this was one of those rare experiences where everything simply feels right.

Wonderful place to stay in Cafayate! The hosts are incredibly friendly and the room was perfect. Also well located to visit the Amalaya vineyards. Would definitely recommend!

“Fantastic Place to explore Cafayate”

Amazing b & b, extremely welcoming, kind and informative hosts, rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything you’d want. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had across our trip. Quiet & stunning views. Couldn’t recommend more!

“Luxury and tranquility”

The place is located on the edge of town and a bit of a walk from the bus terminal, BUT it’s worth every meter. It’s so quiet and peaceful and you are right in front of a mountain. The room is beautifully and stylishly decorated and immaculately clean. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom pure luxury. (That shower!) The owner and his wife are incredibly nice and made us feel welcome and comfortable from the first moment. The breakfast is abundant and varied, served in a very nice room. We were very sorry to leave after just two nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

Jean-Phillipe and Celeste have created an oasis of tranquility and style in Cafayate! Our room was absolutely beautiful, with such attention to detail. We loved the comfortable bed with excellent quality bedding. The views were great, lots of parking, easy access to the town centre (by car) and a great breakfast. The best accommodation we have stayed in in South America so far!

Location was perfect, not in the centre but just 5 mins far away. Juan Phelippe and Celeste where very helpful with everything, recommendations where amazing. Breakfast was fresh and had everything we wanted!
