“Value for money”
The room was clean and they make sure to have a fan as it was very hot. Staff very helpful and Indigo Parking is next to the hotel which was very convenient for me to park.

Comfortable bunks with privacy curtain. Very close to the train station and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Restaurant downstairs was a great place to end and start my day. Fantastic cocktails! Great vibe. Highly recommend!

“Clean and convenient!!”
Great comfortable hostel with some private rooms. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and showers were very good. Rooftop bar was great! I didnt have breakfast there, but it was busy and looked good. Easy walk from the train.

“A+ for comfort, location and ambience”
This was our second overnight stay at The People Caen. The rooms are large and clean, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. There’s a lively environment on the ground floor with the bar and restaurant. And you must believe the hype—we totally recommend the pizza!! The hotel staff and servers are attentive and helpful. As far as location goes, it was perfect for us to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit and to explore the old cobbled streets. A bonus was its proximity to the train station. As two recently retired kids with over large backpacks for a three-month trip, the shortish walk was greatly appreciated.

“Exceeded expectations”
Clean, modern, lovely staff and atmosphere. Great breakfast at a reasonable price. We expected something like a youth hostel, and it was far, far better than that. Excellent value for money.

“Great find!”
Easy to find. Great parking right next door and great offer to save on overnight parking. Staff at reception were so nice and helpful, friendly and relaxed. We booked the family room with double and bunk bed. The kids found it “epic” and it worked great for all of us. Great little bathroom. Everything was super clean. We booked as we wanted to stop on our way to Brittany. We had other plans for the way back. We had such a nice time at The People Caen that we cancelled our plans and booked here again!
