The room really smelled very badly of smoke! We arrived late - after having warned the hotel and although we had booked for 3 people only a bed for 2 was made up - we had to set up and make up the other bed with fusty bedsheets! Very disappointed!

One of the bed sheets was dirty and there was a flashing blue light that kept coming on during the night. As we arrived late after the catching the ferry, we were advised how to enter the building but the car park was locked. Luckily another resident was outside and opened the gate for us.

I did not state a preference for parking at no extra cost, but I do expect it. The reason for staying there was to break our journey - there is no other reason on this planet for choosing a hotel on a city ring road. However, the hotel suited our needs. It was clean and comfortable with no pretences and reasonably priced.

Staffs were nice, friendly and helpful.

Ali, the young receptionist, couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful when we arrived and he tried to sort out the awful issue that arose later in evening.

It was easy to find, with free secured parking and located in an industrial estate, there was little overnight noise (to be fair, we stayed on a Sunday night).

Thoroughly satisfied with all the facilities. We arrived late after reception had closed but easily worked out how to get through the electric security gate and check-in machine; the process was made easy which we appreciated after a long drive from the Ferry Terminal. The shower pressure was exceptional and the bunk-bed matress/base was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet for €9 was a nice surprise; we went down at 10:30 and a kind gentlemen allowed us to have a late breakfast despite being about to close.

The staff were lovely, especially Leo and Mohammed who were so friendly and helpful. The takeaway breakfast at 3 euros 50 was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and there was Super U supermarket nearby where you could buy anything you wanted plus 2 very good restaurants for evening meals. For a 2 star establishment the hotel is excellent and very secure with coded entrance to your room and a large free car park.
