Vittore and Eric have a beautiful property and our studio was large, well equipped with a great view of the Constitution monument. It was in a great location for sightseeing and walking to restaurants.

The property was in the nicest part of Cadiz and it was absolutely stunning. Lovingly restored by Eric and Vittore with modern features but retaining all its historical charm. Everything was of very high quality from the Japanese toilet and jacuzzi bath, to the linens and stunning pieces of art dotted everywhere. We loved the roof garden and honesty bar and it was so helpful to be able to do some laundry. Everything together really was a 10/10 stay.

Cadiz is friendly easy going and super clean. This is reflected in La Casa del Consul. Quiet. Clean. In a beautiful old building but a playful modern interior. Plenty of room to relax and unwind. Checkin experience efficient and friendly. Great location. We were travelling by train and staying for a couple of days. The short walk into town and to the sites was enjoyable. Bedding super comfortable. Air conditioning: in-room adjustable, although we didn’t need it. Windows open if fresh air preferred. Lots of natural light. Water pressure and shower size great. Well equipped kitchen and appliances. If I come back to Cadiz one day I will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here before and returned as it was such a lovely place. The location is perfect. The building and rooms are beautiful. Eric, the welcoming host has plenty of information about restaurants and sites to visit. If the weather had been better we would have spent more time on the roof patio, but it was relaxing all the same.

This is one of the most gorgeous hotels I’ve stayed in. Spacious, calm, and stuffed with incredible art. It’s in a superb location, just a few steps from the action. The roof terrace is fabulous, overflowing with foliage and overlooking a lively square. Flamboyant hosts Eric and Vittorio were a blast - eager to share their knowledge of Cádiz, they were the most welcoming hotel guys ever, cracking open the wine as soon as we arrived, telling us where to go for a good time (and where to not bother with, too). In short, we enjoyed a brilliant time here as our base for our Cádiz adventure.

Lots of room for two people. Very quiet. Wonderful building and felt secure. Terrific central location. Enjoyed two excellent meals buying fresh fish in the superb market (we are envious). A much better rental experience than some of our recent trips to France.

The most beautiful house, restored with great love to detail and lovely owners who really made us feel at home. Amazing room with a great view, lovely roof terrace and most convenient location. Close to the center and yet not noisy. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

La Casa del Consul is really a perfect place to stay for your time in Seville. Very friendly Host who give a lot information and guideline for the stay. The apartment has a decent size and is equiped with what you need. The interior of the apartment is stylish and silent at night .

This is such a beautiful property. Vittore and Eric have thought of everything that makes a stay feel special. We had a fabulous, quiet and well-equipped apartment (there was even a chilled bottle of Cava waiting for us) with a beautiful view over the Plaza. The roof garden was our favourite place in Cadiz, a great place to relax, read or eat. There was the added bonus of being able to do a clothes wash and dry which is very helpful when away for 3 weeks. I highly recommend this stay.

Everything. Very cool decor, great hosts with lots of tips for local bars, restaurants and attractions. Top notch facilities all round - amazing high tech Japanese toilet, I found myself.standing waiting for the lid to lift automatically at our next apartment! Beautiful secluded roof top pool in garden surroundings. Brilliant location in close walking distance to just about everything you could want to see in Cádiz. “Romantic luxury”

Fantastic apartment everything very thoughtfully considered. Roof terrace with the pool on the roof was wonderful and without too many apartments with access it was common for us to have this space to ourselves. We enjoyed having breakfast on the roof terrace. Cadiz was wonderful and there are some great places to eat out. The combination of luxury apartment in an very interesting unspoilt walled city surrounded by the sea with accessible beaches is hard to beat. The apartment is beautifully quiet and cool even in the hottest days we stayed there 10/10.
