Overview
Hostal Centro Sol is set in a renovated neoclassical building in Cádiz' old town, 150 metres from Cádiz Cathedral. It is a 15-minute walk from La Caleta Beach. Featuring tiled floors, all rooms are air conditioned and have a TV, desk and wardrobe. The private bathroom comes with shower. Some rooms overlook an interior patio and other have street views. A former merchant's house, the building maintains its original entrance, as well as marble columns and a staircase. Tourist information is available and you will find a range of shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. Cádiz Train Station and the port are within 5 minutes' walk.

“Excellent choice for a hostel”
It has all you need from a hostel. It's not fancy but everything works and is clean. It also has an elevator. Easy to access once you know the way. It's close to the cathedral and at a walkable distance of many interesting places.

“Old in all the right ways”
Beautiful little place in ideal location for exploring the city. I was there off season, but it appeared it would be ideal for those wanting the beach in the summer. Staff was incredibly helpful. Next time in Cadiz, I know where I'm staying.

The blonde receptionist gave us super travel tips (thank you, Tarifa was indeed beautiful!). The building itself is traditional for the area. Besides, you're in the city center.
