The coffee plantation experience. Sleeping and eating among the coffee fields and the lake. Superb local coffee served for breakfast but also available in the room. Rooms are actually small houses - very quiet and spacious (even if a little dated)

“Lovely staff, pretty view from restaurant, quiet cabins.”

Very clean suite, excellent staff. Very accommodating when we were stuck in the room a few days due to an injury (before we arrived). Limited menu for restaurant/room service, but breakfast was great. Restaurant has a lovely view. Saw some toucans the 1st morning.

Beautiful location. Very nice breakfast included. Hotel was difficult to find.

The breakfast was good. The view from the covered dining patio was incredible! We spent a lot of time enjoying the view and watching and listening to the birds. Our little cabin was great. The hummingbirds were delightful. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly personnel, clean and spacious room, nice view on the garden from our terrace, delicious breakfast (with fresh coffee from theor plantation!!!) with an even more amazing view: the restaurant terrace looks over a beautiful lake, a really romantic setting. Only 1,5 hours drive from San Jose and you are completely surrounded by the calm and beautiful nature. Would definitely recommend this!!!

Nice hotel next to the lake. The rooms are really spacious and has a small kitchenette. The environment is relaxing and well-maintained. The staff are friendly.

I loved the staff, the room, the location is great, it is a great place to get some rest and have a great time with family and friends. We made an special request and they were so kind to allow us to have dinner even after the regular restaurant schedule :)

Perfect for a break going from the pacific to carribean side. The room is nice with very comfy beds. However, the best part was the breakfast with a view on the lake in the morning. It was a beautiful vieuw!

For those of us who've already been at the restaurant's Sunday brunch before, the only difference is being able to stay overnight at the property. The room is what you see on the pictures, and I have no complaints about them. The breakfast was your regular Gallo Pinto with the sides of your choice, plus juice and coffee.

Great position overlooking a lake with spacious rooms and bathrooms with balcony overlooking the forest. Comfortable but not particularly charming. A good stopover if going to Volcano Irazu, Helpful, charming staff.
