A good sized apartment that is usefully close to the airport. The owning family seemed approachable and made the stay welcoming. It was incredibly good value, very clean with all the basics and seemed to be in a safe locals residential area. They were able to accommodate our car for the night as well.

I only needed to spend the night in the vicinity of the airport and this was perfect. It is basic, but clean and the owner is very responsive and kind. For an extra charge, you can also arrange for an airport pickup, which comes in handy if you arrive later at night as I did, and don’t want to waist time looking for the place.

We had a warm welcome and host was very responsive and helpful. We stayed for 3 days and really enjoyed in the spacious apartment. The bed is great and the room is big. Our motorcycles were safely parked in a fenced yard. City train station and bug supermarkets nearby. The morning of our flight host's uncle gave us a ride to the airport. Very pleasant and relaxing stay!

“Simple but clean and comfortable with a great host and close to the airport”

I was very pleased with my stay at Chelox Panama Airport. It was a bit of a challenge finding the place, as is true of many places in Panama due to the lack of property signage, and I had been expecting a regular hotel. It is a private property, more akin to an AirBnb than a hotel, but it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The friendliness and hospitality of the host. Joselyn, really made me feel welcome and added to the experience. I selected the property due to its proximity to the airport, which was another big plus. Here is a hint how one can more readily find the place. My knowledge of the Panama City Metro really helped. The first street leading north just east of the second to last station on Line 2, 24 de Deciembre, is the one you want. The Metro runs down the middle of the Carretera Panamericana, Ruta 1, so it provides a good landmark. Go up that street, and in several blocks there will be a big sign that says Calle San Jose. Continue straight up the hill past that sign, and two (maybe three) more streets on the left is Calle 12. It is past the tire repair place. If you come to the Chinese restaurant on the right, you went a block too far. Turn down C. 12, and the property is the very last place on the right. Turning around in that street would not be easy. Hope that helps someone find the place.

“Great place for a short stay”

We spend here the first night after arriving late at Panama airport. For this purpose it was just great. The host was very helpful and contacted us upfront to align about the checkin. Safe parking is included, also comfortable bed and even a kitchen where we prepared us some sandwiches.

Perfect for a night before San blas! It's on the right side of panama city so you can avoid crossing all of the city in the morning. Friendly owner, does speak Spanish though.
