Overview
Situated on 8 acres of private beach in Cabo San Lucas, this resort offers well-equipped suites. It features a spa, 3 outdoor pools and a hot tub overlooking the beach. Each room has Mexican-style décor and tiled floors. There is a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, and either a furnished balcony or terrace. Playa Grande Resort features a gym and guests can also enjoy a game of golf or tennis. You can relax with a sea-inspired treatment in the resort's spa. While adults browse the on-site shops, kids will love the activities at the kids club. The resort is set close to La Marina, where activities include scuba diving, jet skiing and snorkeling. Free shuttle services to partner hotels are also available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Expensive if u r not on meal plan. But key issue is health: 2 family members contracted urinary tract infections, probably from pool or perhaps sheets/towels. Never happened before. Other members caught colds. Booking dot com doesn't get off Scott free on this review either: extremely misleading final advertised price meant hidden fees which added 25% to total cost. Didn't know until we checked in. Not hotels fault. Utterly booking dot com sneaky small print approach. Will not be using this app in the future.

The location was absolutely beautiful. The property is well maintained and the staff is top of the line , all the way. Very nice facility.

“Very relaxing place.”
The room was very nice. View was amazing! Very clean and king size bed was incredibly comfortable. Loved watching the whales from the beach and from our room. Poolside service was excellent. The food and drinks served at the pool were very good.

We were on the American Plan - ie breakfast included. The breakfast was very good but limited in its selections. It was different from the normal and daily buffet.

I booked to extend my stay on the Wednesday morning for a further five days, we had a family tragedy back in NZ and had to leave immediately on the Thursday. They said they would refund the four unused days but didn’t do it , which was very disappointing.
