Wonderful host and the whole experience was superb! Visiting Cabo Polonio was truly 'once in a lifetime' adventure, great recommendation.

“Wonderful staff, clean and cozy”

This is a very simple place to stay, which is what we wanted. It was clean, and the staff were wonderful. We lost our room key on the beach, and it was late. The staff were very kind about it, and found someone to help us get into our room. (We found the key on the sand the next morning!) If you stay here you should know that there is WiFi only in the restaurant and also that is the only place you can charge your phone (no power point in the room). It is in a good location, close to all the restaurants and music. You will hear music into the night. That was okay with us.

This was a very different experience of a hotel stay , back to the 1950 s but it was great fun . The bed was very comfortable . The toilet you pulled an old fashioned chain to flush . . Cabo Polonio is a beautiful area with long gorgeous beaches , sea lion sanctuary , and lots of arte stalls .. its got a great laid back vibe . The hotel is basic with no electrical sockets in your room but the hotel staff allow you to charge your phone in the bar area , sun permitting.. the staff are very kind. We had dinner 2 nights in the hotel and the quality of food and service was excellent . The garden is lovely to relax and there is wifi ...the stars and sunsets are amazing ...i would definitely visit . Has to be on your list if touring Uruguay .

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was acceptable. There is a nice area to eat and socialize just outside of the hostel. Most of the staff was quite helpful and friendly.

A true paradise in Cabo Polonio - the real deal. The kindness of the owners was incredible. The place is close to everything and the breakfast was very nice also. They offered us a Caipirinha as a welcome drink + they had candles and the fire ready for us. Totally recommended !!!

“A central and full service stay in Cabo Polonio!”

The staff is super nice! Everyone was lovely and very open to help with everything we needed! More than a room, we had access to shared spaces and amenities, like a kitchen. They also have a restaurant with many options and really good food. The location is great, central, and close to everything on foot - especially from the bus terminal.

“Amazing stay with great staff”

Mario was amazing for the whole stay, so friendly despite the language barrier we still managed to have great conversation. He let us borrow oil, salt herbs etc from the kitchen. The staff here made the stay even better- Pablo on our last morning before checkout even made us breakfast at 5.30am which was greatly appreciated as most hostels don't offer early breakfast. The room was spacious, we had hot water the whole time and the communal areas were nice to chill out in at night. This is a great location right next to the bus station and the small supermarket. Breakfast is simple, but lots of it - toast , jam and coffee.

The location indicated on the map is not accurate, as it shows the place close to Playa Sur, and its nowhere near that. Its in the absolute center of the village and not even close to the other beach, Calaveras. The property also states that they are 50 meters from the beach which is likewise not truthful. So that was a disappointment, and misleading/ Plara Sur is not the nearest beach as claimed. This could be bookings error and not the establishment.

The place is very near to the "truck terminal" where you arrive in Cabo Polonio, and very central to the "village/town", bars and restaurants.
