On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and the garden was peaceful and pleasant, with direct access to the beach. It’s also worth noting that it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach the town center (via the beach), so make sure to have a phone or a flashlight at night, as there is no lighting at all.

Cabo Polonio is a stunning place, and Carmela suites really make the stay a wonderful experience. The room we had overlooked the sea. There really is something special about drifting off to sleep listening to the waves break on the beach. Carmela is a lovely woman, so friendly and chatty and the food was out of this world! Everything was homemade, organic; even the eggs tasted divine! The homemade bread and homemade marmalade for breakfast were delicious, and my husband said the steak he had for dinner was exceptional. Its about a 20 min walk to the sealions, along the beach, and about 10 mins from where you are dropped off when you arrive.

Carmela was amazing! She was so lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. It was like being at home from home! Jose and Lili were also great. The food was amazing, especially the fish dish. And the bed was comfortable and you could wake up in the morning and see and hear the sea! It was located slightly out of town, which was great for me as I wanted to relax. A lovely experience. I would highly recommend staying with Carmela.

Very well maintained property, with cute lights, comfortable room and in front of the beach. There is also a dependance to enjoy the sun light while avoiding the wind

The gratest highlight was Dani, who made the whole difference at Posada Carmela. I must say that at first I thought she was the property owner herself according to her dedication and care at every step of the stay. (Welcome via whatsapp with all the information; welcome at the property; food preparation for evening, breakfast and her warm and kind spirit, caring about every detail like my own birthday, she just remembered it and surprised me with my dessert turned into a very special bday celebration). The property was perfectly clean, hence high above the standards for Cabo Polonio. It is a great thing to have the insect nets in every bed. Food was delicious, like made at home. It was cozy at all times, but specially at night with all the candles, also the lovely fireplace and music inside.

Carmela and Dani are the best asset! We enjoyed our stay, the room and facilities were ok, great location. And you were in the cleanest accommodation you could find in Cabo Polonio. But the joy and the warmth we got here are priceless
