The property also has a shared lounge with a TV and a library filled with books on the local Wayú indigenous culture. Rancheria Utta is a calm and silent area, you will have direct contact with the Wayú tribe and natives. Popular activities to practice on site include windsurfing and sports fishing.

“An amazing and peaceful stay”
Rancheria Utta exceeded our expectations. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the peaceful energy of the place. The rooms are very comfortable and include a private bathroom. We especially loved the terrace, with its beautiful chinchorros and refreshing sea breeze. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is always attentive to your needs. A special thanks to Ana at the reception for her excellent organizational skills. We spoke with her for hours about the local culture and she truly made us feel at home.

“Peaceful, Welcoming, and Unforgettable”
We had perfect days at Ranchería Utta. We stayed for three nights, but if I had known how special the energy of Cabo de la Vela is, and how serene and comfortable the ranchería would be, I would have stayed longer. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and everyone who works there is kind and helpful. The lodge is beautifully maintained, and the room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I will definitely come back someday — everything was truly special. A heartfelt thank you especially to Gabriel, Andrés, and Will, with whom we had the most contact. A big hug!

“We planned to stay one night but in the end we stayed three nights because everyone was so friendly! Especially Ana!”
Super quiet, very very friendly and helpful employees. Also they have good food and help you with transport. I really loved talking to Ana!

“lovely place in general with a good value for money”
wonderful position, lot of atmosphere, a unique place you really feel immerse in the local culture, in contact with the local population and learn about them one evening I joined a cultural event to learn more about the Wayiu, who are the indigenous in that area

“Nice basic setup with individual huts & bathrooms”
Simple, neat, clean. No electricity in the huts during the day but only after 5pm. You don’t go to a place like this for the luxury. There is a standing fan which comes very handy in the evenings. The towels were very fresh. The hammocks are being put upon request at the porch. Great feature.
