A lovely mansion style house set in large private gardens. It is a haven of peace and tranquility. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. All food is of very high quality. Dinner can be arranged and is very good value. The menu is limited but there is something for everyone. The staff are all very helpful and kind. Wendy, who checked us in, and served us at Dinner one night was especially helpful and spoke very fluent English. Would not hesitate to return.

Breakfast was AMAZING! superquality, variety, attention to details. The garden is beautiful. The location is quiet and at the same time, well located near amenities. Shower supergood with really hot water very fast.

Everything! This is a beautiful hotel set in the most stunning grounds full of dozens of species of trees planted many, many years ago with. The owners and other staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was superb.

“An absolute gem”
This is an absolute gem. It is a small family run hotel, set in its own delightful grounds, about a mile south of Cabezon along a very quiet lane, ideal for a stroll. Our room had its own spacious terrace. The buffet breakfast is as comprehensive as in a big top class hotel without the pushing and dodging of other guests. The hot options are cooked to order. The proprietor offers a “light” dinner but one can make it as substantial as one wishes and it is of excellent quality, good value and in very agreeable surroundings.

Jardin de Carrejo is a beautiful place to enjoy a few days in Cantabria. The location is perfect to drive to all the sites along the coast. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. It is also possible to get dinner, which is simple but quite good.

A beautiful old house with wonderful gardens. We had a junior suite which was great with plenty of comfortable seating. The bathroom was huge. Our host Alfonso was very kind and helpful Fabulous breakfast Thank you

The jacuzzi bath in the Junior Suite was truly exceptional. The breakfast was also pretty tiptop. The garden was delightful, as the name of the hotel would suggest :)

The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They adviced several places to visit and things to do in the region, also restaurants. They are very polite, kind and helpful. It is a a very relaxing place to stay and enjoy the silence.
