The location and setting was incredible, even better than the photos, the staff were amazing too. We got there before lunch and had the pool to ourselves. Rooms basic as expected but very clean

Amazing location in the oasis. The owner was super friendly and made us breakfast super early in the morning. Well priced food and drinks, definitely recommend!

Incredible location at the bottom of the canyon. Family run hotel. Fresh water pool, beautiful garden with hammoc and shade to hang out. Banana pankakes included for breakfast. Optional lunch and dinner (25sol each) simple but good. Highly recommend!

Lovely pool and surrounding area - perfect for relaxing after trekking. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and hot showers appreciated. Food basic but filling. Great to have a 4.30am breakfast option to start the big trek out.

Great place in the middle of the oasis, nice pool

Simple room, clean and with private bathroom. Nice dinner but very poor breakfast - only two small pancakes with jam per person. It was defienietly not enough as we were walking up from Sangalle to Cabanaconde. Place is nice but defienietly bring Your own food! :)

The staff were so nice! The rooms are clean and the meals are awesome! We hung out in the hammocks all afternoon and it was so lovely

“Clean and beautiful place to stay in Colca Canyon”

We booked this accommodation instead of the one offered by the tour operator for the Colca Canyon trek. The bathroom and room were very clean and there was also free Wifi (which was not free in the neighboring accommodation). The pool was also well maintained and the staff were courteous.

The food was so great after a day of hiking and they had hot showers in the evening which was amazing!!

Perfect stay after a full day of hiking! The views are amazing, the lodge has comfy areas to chill, the rooms were nice and clean and had hot water. The dinner was also great for only 25 soles (also had vegetarian options) and the staff was super friendly! The women from the reception even made us delicious pancakes at 4.45am and we were even the only guests for breakfast! Would definitely recommend!

Given the challenges of the location at the foot of the canyon this hostel is efficiently run and focused on the needs of hikers. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and the en-suite shower was very warm. The staff were friendly, the food was pasable and the breakfast was available from 5am enabling hikers to escape the canyon before the heat builds up . Honestly, I don’t understand some of the complaints I have read about this place. I mean you can’t expect to stay in a semi tropical environment at the foot of a remote canyon without expecting a few bugs in your rooms.
