Great hostel, delicious food, and the best staff you can wish for. They were supporting for the trails ahead, but unfortunately also with the high altitude sickness we encountered afterwards. They actively helped connecting with taxi drivers, hospitals, and taking care of you the best they could. We sincerely appreciate this stay and would recommend everyone to book here.

“Perfect starting point for colca canyon treks”

It was very clean and really well run. The team were super helpful and even provide a briefing for everyone in the evening to advise on their planned treks! The food was really tasty, and the rooms were very comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but very clean and had hot water, soap and towels

Great stay! Staff was super helpful with explaining the route of our Colca Canyon trip. Nice restaurant, nice breakfast, nice beds. You can rent hiking poles and they can arrange your transfer to your next destination.

Very clean and really great and caring staff. They provided us with lots of information and advice regarding our trekking in the canyon. Also the trip to the condor viewpoint was awesome!

Nice hotel. Room was good, shower was good. Very friendly staff that gave us all the info we needed and a map for the Colca Canyon. Food was very nice as well.

“Amazing stay before heading into colca canyon”

Lovely and attentive staff, they even give a briefing before heading into the canyon. The facilities are very modern and clean The food was great as well! We loved our stay and can recommend it We also did the condor tour which was really great to see the majestic birds.

“Exceeded all expectations”

We loved every minute of our stay thanks to the owners Ludwig and Naama. They really go out of their way to make sure everyone gets to discover the Colca Canyon region in their preferred way. They have an updated detailed map of the region and a list of all possible hikes and activities. They also explain everything personally to make sure that you know exactly what to do. Pachamama has a great atmosphere and opportunities to share stories over dinner with other travellers.

“Good stay, bit overpriced.”

Hostel is nice, rooms are pretty basic. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is good. When we left after a morning hike we could use the shower for a couple of soles which was great.

Very nice hostel with nice people and good help. Nice dinner and they make Lovely sandwiches for on the road. They habe def the best showers we had till now.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Pachamama Home. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel incredibly welcome. The accommodation was comfortable, the food was delicious, and above all the people were genuinely kind and caring. The host knows so much about the Colca Canyon area and gave us many great tips for our hike and stay in Cabanaconde. You can really tell they care about their guests and want everyone to have the best possible experience. During our hike to Llahuar, my mother became sick. Pachamama immediately helped us by arranging a taxi, and the host even came along personally in the taxi to help and support us. We were honestly so grateful for that kindness and care in a stressful moment. It went far beyond what we ever expected from a hotel or hostel. We are extremely satisfied with our stay and would recommend Pachamama to absolutely everyone visiting the Colca Canyon. Thank you again for everything — we will never forget your kindness!

“Would definately reccomend!”

Staying at Pachamama was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Ludwig and Manu made us feel completely at home and they took the best care of us during our stay. The beds were really comfortable, the shower was lovely and warm and the food was absolutely great with a wood-fires pizza oven and freshly baked bread in the morning. We would love to stay at Pachamama again!

Very cute homestay, good food and amazing staff. They helped me with everything, from transport, the hike to making sure I got my stuff to my next destination that I lost. 10/10 recommend

“Really nice stay”

Had a really nice stay at pachamama. The staff helps you planning your trip in the colca canyon. Also a good place to meet other people who are doing the hike. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Hotel seems to have a good rating but our room was very small and basic. Restaurant prices are pretty high for what you get and what is common in Peru. It felt like they now try to take disadvantage of previous customer reviews

We stayed her for 2 nights and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our planning for the hiking into the canyon. During our 3 day hike in the canyon we could leave are backpacks at the homestay so we could travel light. The hostel gave us a map of the canyon which was very useful during our hike. Absolute recommended.

This place is great! The room had everything we needed, the staff is very friendly and will help with everything you need. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in ages. The place of the homestay is also great, very close by the square.

Everything about Pachamama is spot on, the comfortable rooms, the amazing food, and most of all the hosts and staff. Special thanks to Leandro and Cecilia; they made us feel at home. It was the highlight of our trip. We hope to come again. Thank you so much!
