“A perfect stopover while trekking the canyon”

The perfect place to stay overnight on a multi-day trek through the Colca canyon. The guesthouse is in a stunning location, you can see many stars at night. The room is very comfortable and clean. The food is basic but the portions are generous.

What a wee slice of paradise to call home for the night. We LOVED it here. It’s peaceful, clean, serves a great dinner and incredible pancakes for breakfast! This is the perfect place to rest up, soak your muscles in the hot pools and prepare for your hike out of Colca Canyon.

Great stay at casa Virginia! Our host was very welcoming and hardworking to take care of all of the guests. The rooms were very comfortable and had towels provided, the hot springs were great after a day of hiking, plenty of places to sit in the sun and enjoy the views of the canyon. The food in the evening was lovely. They also have very affordable sandwiches if you arrive early or need lunch for your next day of hiking.

The best place to stay in Llahuar! Very affordable price, clean rooms & bathrooms and lovely hot/cold pools.

“A wonderful spot”

Our hosts were wonderful, and the hot springs were very welcome after two days of hiking. It’s a truly lovely spot, overlooking the river and very tranquil. The breakfast pancakes (included in the stay) were absolutely delicious as well!

Thermal baths were great after the hike. Amazing garden with lots of different fruits. Amazing views en very very good food! This is really the garden of Eden after a long hike.

“Beautiful garden”

It is like an oasis inside the desert. Flowers, trees, fruits growing right above your head. Oranges, mandarins, lemons, apples, avocado even bananas. The scent is undescribable. Lots of little chickens running around. The thermal pool is marvellous just the right temperature. Cabin is very cosy with comfortable bed. No horrendous peruvian music playing, totally tranquil just sounds of nature.

We had an amazing stay at Casa de Virginia! The whole place is beautiful and in such a peaceful setting with a lovely garden and right next to the river. It was the perfect place to relax after a morning of hiking. The thermal pools are amazing to spend the afternoon, and we loved the company of the dogs and chickens. The bedroom and shared bathrooms were comfy and very clean. We also want to say a big thank you for the vegan options provided! We had a tasty and filling dinner and breakfast.

AMAZING! No need more words. I was not sure if take this hotel or the one under... but this was definitely better solution. Very friendly staff, delicious dinner and breakfast (so far I know the other hostel near by the river is nice too, but food is very easy and not much tasty), termales and incredible view from the terrace. Go ahead!

This was such a beautiful hostel, the view of the canyon was amazing to start, but the man running the hostel was also very warm and friendly (even with limited English). The food was nice and having the pools to go in after a day of hiking was amazing. Such good value for money and they even had a card machine and WiFi which I wasn't expecting considering the location!

Great location for a first day in the Cańon. Free wifi, toilet paper, little breakfast included for a very good price. Possible to buy water for cheap.

I really loved everything about this place. It feels like a small paradise tucked inside the canyon. The garden has two hot pools where you can relax and reconnect with nature, such a perfect atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the WiFi works well. The food is very good and fresh, and the bathroom was clean throughout my stay. The beds were also comfortable, which made it easy to rest after hiking.

The location with the view was amazing! The site felt like a green oasis with a lot of plants and a lovely hot springs after a long hike! The owner made sure there was a relax atmosphere and arrenged additional requests. The room and bathroom are basic, but the price, location and hospitallity make more than up for it!

“Beautiful oasis with solid tin shacks but poor breakfast”

Lovely elevated oasis with great canyon views and three different hot pools in the garden. A great place to relax after a long hike. The tin shacks were surprisingly warm at night - looks like the stone walls save the warmth from the sun. A solid dinner was served at a reasonable price.

Honestly one of the prettiest place I've been to in my life. Super friend staff, very nice pools. The food was really good!
