Wonderful Guesthouse, with a beautiful garden right next to an old church. The churchyard can be entered through the private cosy and nicely decorated garden. The rooms a spacious and appealing! The owner dies a backflip to help abd make your stay a great experience! You can see the tip of Mount Ararat from the porch!

Nice garden and communal space, good kitchen

Beautiful place, beautiful garden. The host was super helpful and friendly, always ready to help. Showed us the local church. Breakfast (3000 amd) was tasty!

Everything was perfect. A very friendly owner. A good location to stay if you want to summit mount Aragats. Next to the house there is a grocery store.

“Mixed feelings but overall nice place”

Despite everything I wrote in the bad comments section, I will say this : if you want a cheap and pretty nice hostel to visit Byurakan and its surroundings, this is a pretty nice place. The hostel is well situated. You can be at the nearest bus station in 3 minutes. It is also possible to hike to Amberd castle and hitchhike to Mt Aragats, although I would not advice to hike to Aghdsk - where you can visit nice caves and an antique crypt - like I did (unless you go through Ogrov) because the trail… isn’t really a trail. The rooms and bathrooms are clean spacious. The old (400 years I believe) church right behind the hostel is really nice, as the garden between the two. The owner’s daughter is a sweetheart. She offered me coffee and we spoke quite a lot. She teaches in Yerevan so she might not be there when you visit, but she is on of the reasons why I decided to stay three nights instead of the one I originally planed. Katy (or Kitty?), the dog, - who is, funnily enough, a male - is very gentle and loves visitors (and food!) The owner also was, at times, sympathetic. He offered me fruits from the garden and was eager to speak about why I was visiting Armenia and how I liked it so far.

“Cosy and good value”

Very nice property, built right next to a church with a nice garden and river next to it. Close to where the bus drops you off and also to a mini market. The owner was very attentive to my needs even though he doesn't speak English. Very good value accommodation.

Large room (4p). Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Very friendly host. Parking space in front of the house. Good location for an early start walking up Agarats.

A traditional Armenian guesthouse with a welcoming owner, a nice garden and a cute little dog who always wants to follow you around. Very clean and pretty quiet, comfy beds and a spacious room. I especially appreciated the small heater and hot water for making tea the host provided. Definitely will come again!

The host was very nice

I had a three-bed room for myself. Two clean bathrooms (one of them with a shower) are available. WiFi works. The host was very kind.

Many rules around the house but thanks to that it is a very clean and well looked after place. Beautiful garden. We wanted to use washing machine. It costed 1000 dram and we had to buy our own detergent separately. No access to kitchen but we could ask for some hot water. Nice owner.

Amazing Armenian accommodation in a quiet and safe area. Located in a village below Aragats. The very nice owner will show you the garden, his small museum and give you a taste of the local plums. There are many rooms to choose from. All the rooms are very nice, clean and fragrant. The shower and toilet is very clean. The rooms have very comfortable mattresses, we slept wonderfully. I must also recommend the breakfast. It is a traditional Armenian breakfast with a great selection. I recommend this accommodation to everyone, it is an experience!

The owner and his family were really nice. The room was spacious and clean. Location of the house is in the town center and near bus stop. Beatifun garden with fruit trees . Good price for the value!

The room and the toilet are very clean, the other spaces (terrace and kitchen) are big and well kept. The host is friendly and discreet. I strongly suggest this accomodation in Byurakan.
