A really large room with a comfortable bed, a large desk, a fridge and kettle. The small heater was really handy as it was a cold day. The staff were great. It's a fantastic location.

“Good value hotel with friendly staff in the heart of town.”
Great location in the heart of the old town. In a pedestrian precinct so no traffic noise. An old building with character that has seen various bouts of modernisation over the years. Charming staff. Decent breakfast with a couple of hot dishes. On site parking was easy for us: one of the bollards that keep the street pedestrian-only was broken so we could just drive up the street and into the hotel yard. Future guests in a car should check with the hotel about parking access before arrival. Price reasonable for the location and general atmosphere. We would certainly stay there again.

The breakfast was good, lots of choices. The location in a pedestrian street, not far from the main square.There was a good supply of coffee and tea on the first day.
