Located in Byron Bay town centre, YHA Byron Bay offers backpacker accommodation just 400 metres from Main Beach. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a tropical garden and games room. “Great hostel!”
The bed was comfy, I chose the ensuite female dorm and it was really spacious, lockers were huge, and the ensuite was nice with a separate shower and toilet so didn't matter if someone was using the shower/toilet. Kitchen was huge, modern, and had everything you needed. Social and chill areas were large and clean.

Private room with ensuite was a handy creature comfort at a hostel. Very clean and quiet. Perfect affordable option for a young family. The free tub is useful for those leaving things behind as well. Something similar for the fridge would also be great (but perhaps there was and I didnt see it)

“Great option for a good nights sleep in the heart of Byron”
I stayed in a private ensuite room which was basic but had everything I wanted and needed! The bed was comfy and the room was quiet so I was very happy! Unfortunately I was too busy to really enjoy the on-site facilities and activities but they looked amazing and the place had a great vibe! Good convenient location, excellent parking facilities and no hassles with late check in!

“One of the best hostel experiences I have ever lived.”
One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The place was cozy, clean, staff were so nice, especially the italian receptionist, common areas were so well organized, the room (4 beds with ensuite) was very clean and amenities were provided. Shout out to the housekeeper for making the place clean and tidy. I would for sure come back to YHA.

It was clean, everyone was super friendly. The facilities were great and the location was excellent, easy to walk to all the shops, restaurants, the beach and easy to get the car in and out of the parking.
