The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Byron Bay, with reasonably priced parking nearby! Everything is extremely clean, and the common areas are fantastic and varied — perfect for relaxing, working, or even enjoying the pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and very well equipped.

Always beautiful Byron Bay. Communication is very important. Drifter answered all my questions and sending warm welcoming messages from the start. Digital keys. Clean and comfortable bed. Positive, professional and progressive staff. Location is the key. It's central to everything. I was upgraded to a private room with my own private bathroom. Merci beaucoup Scott.

“GREAT!”
Drifter has a great location — you can walk or bike everywhere, and the beach is only two blocks away. It’s surrounded by many restaurants, bars, and shops, which makes it very convenient and enjoyable to stay there. They also have a tour information stand, which made everything much easier for me when planning my days in Byron Bay and deciding which places to visit. In fact, I ended up extending my stay for one more night because I really liked the experience. Everything feels very modern, tech and cool. I stayed in a shared room with two other people and a private bathroom, and it was perfect. I really liked that the beds have curtains, giving you privacy, your own light, and a place to charge your devices. Overall, a very good place to stay in Byron Bay. I would definitely recommend it. 🌊
