Located by the Byglandsfjord, this hotel offers a private swimming area, terrace and boat rentals. Wi-Fi and parking are free at Revsnes Hotel. Private bathrooms and TVs are standard in all rooms at Revsnes Hotell. Most offer fjord or garden views. Both buffet and à la carte options are available in the restaurant. Guests can also eat at the garden’s picnic tables. BBQ facilities are available on request. A 19th-century steamboat trip departs outside Hotell Revsnes on Sundays in the summer. “We spent a night at the Ravsnes and enjoyed it very much.”
The location was scenic with views over the lake. The staff were friendly- we very much enjoyed chatting with Joakim. The food was excellent- we had dinner as well as breakfast. The hotel supports charities and knowing this made the stay more enjoyable.

Great location. A hotel with a soul and very friendly staff. A good and very large buffet was served for dinner. Good breakfast

Receptionist Anna was so friendly, helpful. Perfect English, service was the best I had in Norway. Sunday buffet was great and they gave me a table for one with a view. Breakfast was strong too..... Garden area and jetty provided amazing access to the Fjord. User friendly so I went for a swim!

Location is perfect when travelling and you would like to have a simple overnight stay. The hotel lies directly at a lake. Free parking space. Friendly staff at front desk.

Great traditional feeling in s modern layout , scenic , spotlessly clean and comfortable and great welcome . Staff really couldn’t have been more obliging or helpful , buffet and food very good .

“Beautiful Norway.”
The location is next to none! Right on the fjord with is own jetty from which to watch the sunset, beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the Elk burger was lovely. Sadly I’m unlikely to travel this way again, but if I did, I would head straight here. The 12:15 ferry from Hirtshals gets into Kristiansand around 15:30 which makes the Revsnes Hotel a perfectly comfortable first stop in Norway.

Nice location with good view, but some facility inside room like toilet paper and hand paper was empty! There is no mini bar or small refrigerator, or king bed for couples ...

Nice location, good restaurant (the vegetarian lasagna was delicious) and friendly staff. Breakfast was good.
