We had an amazing stay at Pousada Santorini and would absolutely recommend it. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. The view was incredible — easily one of the highlights of our trip, with a stunning panorama over Búzios, Brazil. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a great selection and fresh options to start the day. What really made the experience special was the team: everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The owner was also fantastic and made us feel truly taken care of. Overall, this was one of our favorite stays in Brazil and we would happily come back.

“The Perfect Pousada”

Our last stay in Brazil and Pousada Santorini is as good as we have experienced travelling through South America. Great location with views over Buzios to the sea. Breakfasts were varied and excellent. The pool and sun deck area perfect for relaxing. Special praise and thanks to Israel and Ayrton who looked after us during our stay.

“An absolute gem”

This was really a wonderful stay! The room was really comfortable, the views exquisite, and the heated pool was just lovely! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The staff were very well trained, friendly, and attentive and the owners have clearly paid attention to every little detail. We'll definitely be back.

“Really lovely, friendly hotel - home from home!”

Wonderful hotel and staff, really exceptional. Food was excellent and the views from the room balcony over Buzios were breathtaking. The place was spotless. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the best we had on our whole trip in S. America. Thanks!

“Magic”

Beautiful property with a lot of facilities and food/drink options for a hotel of its size. The staff were amazing most of which spoke English, Spanish and Portuguese to a good level. When we arrived from Rio on the coach transfer one of the staff even came to pick us up in the hotel vehicle at the station at no cost.

“Peaceful & relaxing pousada”

Lovely staff & owner who couldn’t do enough to help. Great property which is clean, has good facilities and fantastic food & drinks. Location on the hill with great views & a short walk from the beach, bars & restaurants.

“Wonderful sunset”

Loved the pousada, really lovely ambience. Great breakfast, good restaurant recommendations (thank you, Lucas :)). Another staff member very kindly loaned me cash to pay my taxi as I arrived home one evening. Comfortable bed. Beautiful view - it really was the best place for the sunset. Quiet location. Lovely breakfast and breakfast room. Great pool, plenty of space, and sunbeds for everyone.

“Amazing”

The pousada is very relaxing with great views over the bay. There are a variety of options for breakfast and it was all very tasty. The music at the pool area is very chilled and it's great area to spend some time with a good book. All the staff are amazing, especially the concierges, Carlos, Elias, Israel and Lucas! Special shout out to Carlos for the best caipirinha and Lucas for speaking brilliant English! The owners did a great job at renovating the Pousada and Rolf (who also makes an amazing caipirinha with his own cachaça) is a pleasure to speak to. We had a room with a spa bath which was great. They are in the process of building a gym/spa area (don't worry you won't see it unless you look into the garden at the bottom/hear a sound) which will be a great addition. The beach is 5 minutes walk, down a hill. There is a hill on the way back up, we walked it but I think the hotel can provide a lift in their kombi if needed. The centre of Buzios is about around 10 minutes drive. It costs between 10-20 reais with Uber which is cheaper than the local taxis.

Calm location with beautiful views. Beautiful plunge pool with no chlorine, perfect temperature open 24hrs. Great breakfast and afternoon tea. Super comfortable beds.

“Gorgeous!”

Since the moment you walk in, you can see how beautiful this Pousada is! Everything has been well thought and is beautifully decorated. Incredibly clean, spacious room, delicious breakfast and breathtaking views! Not to mention how helpful and lovely the staff is We absolutely loved every second of our stay and would definitely come back!!
