Located in Buzancy just 21 km away from Vouziers and Stenay, Hotel du Saumon is only 500 metres from Augeard castle and 20 km away from Bairon lake. Free Wi-Fi is available at the hotel. Classic "Old Skool (sp)" French establishment but charming as a consequence . Family run in a quiet rural village, a well prepared and presented (by the owner) evening meal and a decent breakfast . Room very clean and comfortable but dated in line with the rest of the premises. Not shabby...shall we call it patina??A very welcome step back in time....would certainly stay again. As a bonus secure undercover parking for motorcycles if you happen to be on one.

“Classic French charm”
The Hotel du Saumon is a beautiful building dating back to the 1700's and is full of classic French charm from the greeting we received from the owners, to the beautiful 300 year old floors and staircase to the spacious bedroom. Le Patron is also an excellent chef and we had a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant. This was our second stay at the Hotel du Saumon and I cannot recommend it more highly. Fantastic value for money. There is easy parking opposite and the hotel sits on a corner with classic French architecture all around. We will stay here again on our next visit to France.
