Overview
Situated within Ts’ehlanyane National Park in northern Lesotho, Maliba Mountain Lodge is set in pristine high altitude, boasting scenic mountain vistas. All rooms at Maliba Mountain Lodge feature a balcony with mountain view. Each has a TV, a fireplace and a private bathroom with a bath and shower. Towels and bathrobes are available in each unit. The main lodge features a gourmet restaurant and bistro, two bars with quiet discreet areas to admire the views of the surrounding mountains. Guests can explore the landscape on horseback, go hiking along the various mountain trails, enjoy a visit to the cultural village or do a dinosaur footprint tour. Maliba Lodge also offers a kids club. The forest spa offers a variety of treatments in a serene environment. Caledonspoort Border Post is only 1 hour away by car and Maseru is 160 km away.

This property has so much more potential - Joel is an amazing asset to this place, your best brand ambassador. The food was amazing so well done to the chefs for the delicious, top notch yet flavourful meals. Attentive staff with warm and friendly demeanour. We had a wonderful horse-riding experience with the warm, professional and friendly Feko. Thank you also for the assistance with my flat car tire at the end, hugely appreciated. Hiking was a lot of fun, only tiny snag at the end with confusing signage. Please get your amazing hiking trails on to the ALL TRAILS app so that users can update others on the trail beauty, fitness level/trail difficulty. Overall an amazing experience. We loved the fireplace being lit every night I our room and I the dining areas at breakfast. Very clean facilities, loved how well the room was cleaned everyday, makes a huge difference after a day of activities like hiking and skiing

The location was the most spectacular and idyllic in all of Lesotho. The national park surroundings and the amazing views and scenery made it really special. The staff were all super friendly and we had a nice selection of evening meals each night.

“No doubt the best place to stay in Lesotho”
The bungalow was spectacular. The viewing platform with an electric blanket and fire 🔥 in the room was amazing. The lady on reception was particularly friendly and helpful. Lunch spot by the mountains was fabulous, and lots of activities were available.
