“Perfect, peaceful, haven!”

This place is heaven on earth! We LOVED how calm and peaceful the whole stay was. We loved the food! It was all delicious. The staff were all super helpful! It was all amazing. I wish we could stay forever. Rooms are delightful. It’s so secluded and relaxing, but you can also go off on adventures when and if you feel like it. It’s genuinely so delightful.

The location and the overall concept of the resort. The food was gerat. Perfect place for relaxation and spending time with your partner. Also island hopping is available and could do that as well.

San Nicolas is a dream, hidden gem, a place you will never forget. The location is stunning, attention to the guests and to details are priorities. The history of the place is just mesmerizing, ask Javier to tell you how he and his wife constructed this little paradise on earth. Worth to be mentioned: - the food is outstanding - there are less than 10 cottages so really few guests can stay here - the staff is kind and friendly - black island boat trip is a must see

A really beautiful and unique place. Definitely worth a visit. The food provided is lovely and they make the journey there very easy.

The location of the resort is truly unique. It is accessible only by boat, which makes it very isolated and private. After being picked up from the airport and driven for about 40 minutes, we were transferred to a boat and arrived on the back side of the resort, at a private jetty surrounded by mangrove trees. We were greeted by the owner and walked for about 10 minutes through a beautiful garden to the reception and beach, where the six rooms (duplex or single bungalows) are located. The beach is unspoiled and surrounded by coconut palms, with plenty of places to relax (hammocks, sunbeds, etc.) and lots of privacy. Every night there is a fireplace lit after dinner, so you can watch the sunset while sitting by the fire, which is a great experience. The water is a bit shallow, so swimming is often not an option since the reef and bushes are quite close to the shore, which makes it less comfortable. However, there are complimentary kayaks that you can use to reach a platform about 800 meters from the beach. From there you can explore a really beautiful reef with lots of colorful starfish, shells, sponges, and fish. We also recommend taking a trip to Black Island, which is located just in front of the resort. The reef there is also amazing, and we saw gigantic schools of sardines like we had never seen before. The resort itself is a bit worn out and not very modern, but the privacy and small details, like the handmade wooden chairs, make this place special.In our room, the air conditioning was not working, so for the first night we were given a spare room next to the reception, which also serves as the bar. The room was newer but quite noisy, as people came for breakfast early in the morning and for drinks late in the evening. Every night the tables were set up on the beach, and dinner (or lunch) was prepared by the owner’s wife. The food was delicious, although in terms of the quantity they could easy double the amount served and there would be no leftovers.

“Paradise.”

I loved the location, situated on a stunningly beautiful beach. No cockerels, noisy dogs or music from neighbouring hotels. Pure bliss.

“Beautiful island getaway”

Everything’s was take care of by the staff and hotel owner, we gut the chance to go kayaking and snorkeling without any additionally costs. Food was amazing and tables set up on different places of the beach everytime we had food.

San Nicolas Private Beach is a great place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet, a beautiful beach, and good food. The owner has beautiful villa’s, all of which are separate and offer plenty of privacy. The slightly more expensive cottages on the beach are the best option, all with air conditioning. The service is perfect; you're picked up from the airport by pickup and then driven to a small harbor in 45 minutes. Then, another 45 minutes by Bangka boat. It's an ideal spot for those seeking peace and quiet and good food. You can also take fun excursions. Definitely a recommended place to stay. Not suitable for children.

“Absolute paradise”

The photos do not give it justice the location of you want privacy away from the busy crowds this place is perfect it’s so peaceful there are only 12 other guests at maximum capacity so much space on the beach with multiple lying and seating options to choose from all in shade is needed . The rooms were really nice with bottle water topped up and fresh fruit , the lay out is perfect in individual bungalows felt really special The food is exceptional with breakfast lunch afternoon snack and dinner included the staff go above and beyond for you

What a lovely place away from the tourist crowds - with lovely and helpful staff, wonderful food and nice bungalows - for a maximum of 12 people - very exclusive, a real beach paradise!

Incredible location with private beach with calm waters and full sand. Feels you are on your own island. Very exclusive! Perfect place to go if you are happy to just stay in one place and relax. Food was beautiful. Such a peaceful paradise and good for couples who want to switch off.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional, from the wonderful staff to the incredible private beach, honestly can’t recommend it enough. And considering all the things that are included the price is also very reasonable

Wow, amazing location perfectly remote but very comfortable with such beautiful surroundings. Staff were lovely and helpful, it’s a pretty unique location and we really enjoyed our time there. Food provided was wholesome, tasty and varied - a great blend of Pilipino and Mediterranean

“Slice of paradise and true hidden gem!”

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. My boyfriend and I booked this resort in the hopes of having a relaxing few days away from the crowds, and it exceeded all our expectations- a real hidden gem! The resort is situated on a private beach and you truly feel like you are on a private island. As the resort is small, there was never many people around and felt really peaceful and intimate. The staff were absolutely brilliant and super friendly. Javier and all the other staff couldn’t do enough to help make our trip amazing. Transfers were super easy to arrange (and complimentary)- incredibly flexible and accommodating for your pick up/ drop off (wherever that may be from/to). The food was also amazing! You have a choice of a few different options at breakfast, including Filipino, American or continental breakfast. The lunch and dinner options were buffet style, set up for beachfront dining, and all of the meals were so delicious! Activity wise, there were kayaks and paddle boards available for guest use which were really fun. There is also a trip to a nearby island with waterfalls and other unique wildlife, but we unfortunately didn’t have time to do this. Although we’re not hugely into scuba diving, there are lots of places from the beach that are supposed to be great for this. There are also beachfront massages available on request. We’ve attached some images from our wonderful stay. Thanks to Javier and the rest of the amazing team for making our days at San Nicholas so amazing. We will certainly be returning, for much longer next time!

“Book this hotel!”

We loved this place. It would be a great honeymoon destination. The place is beautiful, enhanced by their buildings and the care taken with the setting. It’s such a pleasant place to spend time. They set the tables in different places every meal time, often outside if the weather allows, near the beach. Meal times are set and the food is severed as a buffet. And the food was amazing. Local harvested oysters and caught fish and plenty of vegi options too. It was a nice time to meet other guests. We needed a transfer to Coron town at the end of our stay. We left at 3pm after staying for lunch and were taken to our next hotel included in the price. Brilliant service.

“Beautiful secluded quiet beach”

Out of the way with no signs of Human life. Maximum six chalets. Quiet getaway. Lovely inclusive food. Beautiful view from beach. Nice day 3 hour day trip to black island. Real adventure getting here. One hour in comfortable 4x4 to pier and then 30 mins by boat. Go there now before any development.
