Staying in Busua was the highlight of our Ghana trip. We didn’t just liked staying at the Laughing Goat, we absolutely loved it. Because of the house keepers Abu and Beatrice, who are absolute angels, we extended our stay twice. We are so thankful having found this simple, peaceful gem in the middle of nowhere and we dream of coming back one day!

The food is high quality and delicious

A very beautiful guesthouse with an inner courtyard. Hammocks and an outdoor lounge area. Clean and safe. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Delicious breakfast and dinner.

We enjoyed the location and the hosts! The room was simple but clean and the garden green and luscious!

We extended our stay from 3 days to 9. That says it all. :) We had a lovely time.

It was a very peaceful location down a track about a 4-5 minute walk to the beach. It had a vegetarian restaurant on site.

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Haven Lodge - clean, comfortable, and tastefully designed. Nancy and Abu are truly passionate hosts who run the place with heart and dedication. You can really feel the love and effort they put in everything they do. The breakfast was excellent- fresh, delicious and a perfect way to start the day.

“Perfectly fine Busua hostel for the beach!”

The laughing goat is a clean and comfortable hostel/hotel in the middle of Busua just a few minutes from the beach. The rooms are spacious and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Busua is a must visit in Ghana and due to the villages rather small size the hostel is perfectly fine, even though not directly on the beach. They offer surfing classes.
