“Amazing hospitality”

Renske and her husband Arnoud made our one night stay memorable by being extremely hospitable. Armoud had made a lovely meal for us on arrival, which we and other guests enjoyed together. In the morning there was a lovely breakfast. From the outside this old farm may not look like anything special, but once you step inside, it’s beautifully renovated, but above all the warm atmosphere is amazing.

Quirky clean and friendly. The dinner and breakfast was outstanding with eating around a communal table. We even managed a dunk in the above ground pool.

Renske and Arnoud are friendly hosts. Their place has a lot of character. The communal meals with other visitors were very pleasant.

Renske and Arnaud are an amazing couple who are in the process of renovating and restoring an old farm house into a home and a B&B. If you are looking to be pampered in a so-called boutique hotel, then go elsewhere. If you want to be welcomed like a family member and share a few moments of their adventure then you’ve found the perfect place. We arrived in the evening after a long drive and were tired and hungry. There is no restaurant in the village but we were offered dinner. We had a delicious meal with all the vegetables home grown. I discovered later that they had given us their own dinner. Breakfast was taken all together, again with their own produce. Be prepared to be surprised. This place is unique.

“A little piece of paradise!”

We arrived at Le Sanglier Sauvage after a long day of driving. We were greeted with big smiles and immediately offered a chilled glass of white wine, sitting on the terrace enjoying the beautiful view over the gardens. Freske’s delicious home cooked dinner was also enjoyed alfresco, and all the stress of the motorways quickly dwindled. Our room was spacious with a beautiful, new ensuite and beds were very comfy. The perfect end to a long day. Breakfast was equally delicious, setting us up for yet another day of driving! Renske and Arnoud were the perfect hosts. We loved every minute in their little paradise and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommend! Nick & Gitte xx
