Overview
Situated on the southern end of Yeongdo Bridge, Bay Hound Hotel is 700 metres from Nampo Subway Station (Busan Line 1). The hotel offers in-house dining and free WiFi in all areas. Finished with wooden flooring, all rooms at Bay Hound comes with a work desk, a coffee and tea set, bathrobes and free toiletries. Satellite channels are available on the flat-screen TV. Private bathroom is fitted with both a bath and a shower. Korean, Japanese and American breakfast is available at Greenery Restaurant on the ground floor. Staying guests have free access to the on-site business centre. There also are laundry facilities on the ninth floor, which can be used at a fee. From the hotel, the scenic Taejongdae park is a 20-minute drive south. Busan KTX Station is a 10-minute drive north, while Gimhae International Airpot is a 35-minute drive from Bay Hound Hotel.

“Decent location and good room size”
Pretty spacious room with a decent view over the water and the food stalls in the evening. The nearest subway stop is about 10 min on foot, which is also not too bad.

“Happy ending trip in 2025”
1. The most impressed me was the very friendly staff. I met a staff who can speak Chinese and helped me solved lots of troubles. Especially I found that I cannot use the Naver Map because of Chinese government forbidden, and she helped me found a place selling local internet phone card so that I can proceed my Busan trip without any barries. I can say this trip would be terrible had it not for her help. And she is so hospitable because when she saw you, she will greet you warmly. If I mark the trip of Busan 7, adding her service, it will be 9! 2. In terms of comfort, I think that it can be passed. There was a sofa in the room so you can take a rest. The mattress was relatively soft and the duvet and something like that also be good. 3. For the cost-effectiveness, I think that no comments on that! With such a good price, I think that the hotel has done the best it can be. 4. For the location, I must declare that Busan is a bus city not a metro city. The metro always goes to the main tourist destinations and the main venues like the airport. For more places, it is still good for using buses. But this hotel can be reached at about 13-22 mins from the Metro Nampo! But I suggest that you must open a transportation card from the convenient shop (CU) in the airport and that can help you save much more time. The nearest bus stop is only 150 meters away from the hotel and it can take you to anywhere you wanna go. I love buses in Busan, which are designed for its people. 5. There will be many good restaurants and cafes nearby so please do not miss it. Really an enjoyment.

Nice people in the location. It's relatively close to Nampo, so either a 20 minute walk or 5k won Uber will bring one there nicely

“An ideal hotel in a perfect location”
It was perfect. Amazing location close to the fish market, Biff square and the ferry terminal. Great facilities and a fab view of the boats. Beds are cosy. All good

“Not for fussy people.”
On Friday and Saturday nights, there are some 20 pushcarts in front of the hotel, by the bay, selling bbq seafood. It is nice to eat by the roadside. Not cheap though. Room has some nice couch. Hotel is a short distance from Yeongdo Bridge, good for viewing the lifting of the bridge every Saturday at 2pm. Nampo station is nearby. Seoul Station is not too far away too. There's a Lotte Outlet / department store / mart nearby. But bottles of body wash, shampoo and hair conditioner are provided.

The room was very spacious and had a bathtub. Super comfortable beds and pillows. Parking is free of charge. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is super convenient. In the evening you can eat some local street food and drink some soju just in front of the hotel in the tents.

“Good hotel for a short stay in Busan”
Fairly central and satisfactory in terms of value for money. The neighborhood is populated with fishermen's booths and a lively fish market pops up every night, however the hotel itself is really quiet.

“Small downsides vs many upsides - would still recommend”
- close to Nampo subway station (7 min walk) - close to the bus (3 min walk) - close to Busan station (2 subway stations difference) - close to Lotte mall - bigger room than expected - nice beds

The toilet was dirty, the sheets had yellow stains the pillowcases were really dirty we couldn’t sleep comfortably.As for the location, it is one of the worse hotels you can stay in Busan, very far from top attractions. The photos of the hotel isn’t reflecting the real thing.
