Overview
Offering self-contained accommodation surrounded by lovely gardens, Poinciana Cottages are 7 minutes’ walk from Burnt Pine’s shops and restaurants. Guests enjoy free airport transfers and free covered parking. All cottages feature a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area offering a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a DVD player. Guests can share an outdoor meal using the summer kitchen and BBQ facilities. The One-Bedroom Superior Cottage includes rental of 1 car and insurance. Norfolk Island Poinciana Cottages are 10 minutes’ drive from both Emily Bay and Kingston. The northern edge of the island is 20 minutes’ drive away and commemorates the landing place of Captain Cook in 1774.

“Great stay for one week at the Poinciana Cottages.”
The Poinciana cottages are a short walk from the airport terminal. Because the location is down a small road, there is no noise from the road. They include a well-kept lawn and flower garden around the cottages. Each cottage also includes a laundry and dishwashing machine. Opposite the terminal are restaurants and a small shop. The best place for shopping food and anything else is the Foodland supermarket about 700m away in the town. There is also a bakery and a butcher.

Peter and Jackie were wonderful hosts. The accommodation was excellent and had everything you needed. Norfolk Island is a special place and should be visited by all.

“Highly recommended”
Very well-appointed Cabins. The grounds and surround were kept in a pristine condition and were very quiet. Jackie and Peter, our hosts, could not have been more accommodating for any request. The BBQ area was a great gathering location and was well stocked everything that was required for afternoon happy hour or a BBQ.

“Great cottage stay”
The cottage was comfortable and cosy. Easy location near the airport and easy to find. We only stayed 1 night so didn't really use all the amenities like the kitchen but it looked well stocked. We were grateful that they accepted 1 night stays as many places didn't. Host so lovely and very helpful. They even provide a phone to use!

“Perfect accommodation in a perfect destination”
The location was perfect, the accommodation very comfortable and just the right size for two people. Opposite the airport, it was reached in under a minute. Being close to the airport wasn't a problem, since there are only 2-4 takeoffs/landings per day (and none on Mondays). Everything was provided for a comfortable stay.

What is there not to like about Poinciana? the location is great, the cottage is well appointed, comfy and had everything I needed (including extra blankets for an unexpected cold night). The gardens and surrounds are tranquil and peaceful. The hosts welcoming and generous. I'd highly recommend these cottages
