“They Kept My Security Deposit – Beware”
I stayed at City View Inn in Burlington and paid a $200 CAD security deposit. I checked out with no issues, but they never returned my money and stopped responding to my messages. This feels like a scam. Be careful—they do not operate honestly.

Staff made an error proceeding my deposit and charged me 200$. He promised to fix it but next day he called me to drive back to the inn to get the money refunded and when asked if there was any other way, said there's no other option. At the site they told me they could have fixed it without me driving all the way there by just e-transferring the money back to me. Wasted an hour driving to the facility and back with no compensation offered. Disappointed in lack of experience and lack of effort to remedy the situation. Otherwise good place.

I had a late arrival so I really appreciated having an after hours check-in set up. The renovations done were a welcome update and the rooms were nicely done. The breakfast area was beautiful and well thought out and the Keurig machine was a good touch.

“An excellent and cheap place to stay.”
For the money this place was great. They are currently upgrading all of the rooms but the room I stayed in was excellent.
