The whole place was amazing, like stepping back in time. The facilities were lovely and clean, very quaint and in keeping with ambiance of the setting. Kitchen was well equipped and the whole house was incredible. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful old cottage type house close to lake tekapo. Kids & family loved the place. Farm animals, rabbits, lush green space outside and backdrop of mountain .. fabulous facility & excellent host.

close to Lake Tekapo within 15 mins by drive from property. Nice little farm/lifestyle with natural surround.

“Magical fairytale cottage”

Magical atmosphere. Cheese and wine by the little river looking at the snow capped mountains. The cottage is straight out of a fairytale. Exactly what I was hoping for while traveling with kids through the South Island.

“Spacious Home With Charm & Character”

The house has character and is very spacious. It is well located for the towns of Fairlie and Tekapo, Mount Dobson ski field and the nearest pub is the Silverstream Pub at 762 State Highway 8, Kimbell and is only a 8 minute drive away. They have a very extensive food menu. The owner was very proactive in answering my questions prior to payment. After I paid for the property, the owner was not so expeditious in answering my queries.

We only stayed one night and got there very late. The house comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 2 kids.

Everything was incredible, the location is magical, felt like a fairy tale, my family from overseas had the best time. Fantastic stay and great value for money!
