- the pool area was lovely and gardens were so lush - they really look after it - we stayed in the economy room which is absolutely fine for what we needed and good value for money with the breakfast included - breakfast was good (choice of egg, pancakes, fruit, ham & cheese, orange juice, free filter coffee throughout the day) you have to pay for water though. - they offer lots of activities (kayaking, pedalo and fishing) - don’t know if these cost extra as we didn’t do anything but worth knowing - local bus is easy to use from the main road. Just flag it down and tell them where you want to go. Easy to get to Tayrona national park by bus and other surrounding towns like Palomino - we ate some of the best food along the main road in Buritaca - try some of the local spots further down the main road cooking on a bbq - delicious

Very private hotel in a remote location. Great for a relaxing stay. The pool area is a nice place to hang out and meet the other guests, to relax and enjoy quiet evenings.

The hotel is a beautiful oasis, so peaceful and relaxing. The pool area is great, and its nice to see the beautiful grounds / farm and kayak on the river. The facilities are excellent and the rooms clean and modern. The nicest place we stayed during our trip to Colombia. We have a 18 month old and the staff were so sweet and kind to her. The people working there were all fantastic.

The pool area and the restaurant are really new and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was friendly and always happy to help. You can ask for Kayaks and can from the property using the kayak to the Buritaca beach, for free. Very nice experience!

This place really is paradise. My partner and I had a bungalow by the lake and the view every morning was amazing - and included a rather large and striking iguana, some beautiful birds and the occasional turtle. If you walk down the road in the morning you can see snow-capped mountains. The food in the restaurant, including the breakfast, was lovely, and I can particularly recommend the cocktails. We spent over a week here, and it was in easy reach of the beach, the town, some very nice waterfall hikes, and local buses. We also spent a day in Tayrona national park and took the hotel's taxi service - very reliable and reasonably priced. Staff were super friendly and professional.

“A pearl in the middle of the jungle”

Gardenia springs is a true treasure in the middle of the jungle. We only stayed for one night, but regretted not booking two. We had one of the cabana’s closest to the river and it was beautiful. The room was really nice, the surroundings were pristine and the food was delicious. The pool area was really well kept and the views of the mountains were stunning. I would highly recommend coming here!

“Idyllic tropical surroundings for a relaxation not adventure”

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. So much wildlife to watch and tropical plants everywhere. We saw a cayman, eagles, countless other birds, tortoises etc
