Breakfast was HUGE and a very good selection of meats and cheeses, with super fresh bread. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is authentic German. Very good!

Another review confirming the rudeness and arrogance of the owner. I arrived at the accommodation at 9:15 PM, but the owner refused to let me in because check-in was only until 8:30 PM. I had, of course, sent a message beforehand informing him that I would be late. After 15 minutes of unnecessary arguing, he finally let me in. In any case, the owner’s attitude was unnecessarily arrogant and unpleasant.

A beautiful 18th-century house with a charming owner. Delicious breakfast, €2 beer from the fridge, and free mineral water. Free parking. Excellent location for exploring this part of Saxony or as a transit stay.

Very old and beautiful building:) Comfortable room with huge bed and elegant white sheets. It was warm inside, even a bit too warm for me, but opening windows at night helped. Everything looked exactly like on the photos. Plus big and tasty breakfast served by a nice owner. For dinner we found good restaurant nearby, with great schnitzels and beer. One little "but" or rather a tip for guests - it's a small, private hotel, so there was nobody at the reception when we arrived, we needed to call the owner to let us in - you definitely should check the "time of arrival" box while making the reservation (of course we didn't do that;) And it turned out that the staff doesn't speak English - but we managed to communicate with some basic German, so everything turned out okay :) We liked the place a lot.

Lovely building full of charm and character. The owner is very helpful very friendly and also a bit of a character. Location is good, easy to find and an easy walk into town. Plenty of parking but beware steep ramp and sloping ground. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water and a powerful shower. Great breakfast. You won’t leave hungry.

The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. There was parking at the property. Beautifully renovated old building.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way home. Interesting accommodation in a building, parts of which were built several centuries ago. The owner has expertly restored everything and created comfortable rooms. It was interesting to discover that various hinged windows were known a long time ago and to try to open them using ancient mechanisms. The beds are comfortable, the room is quiet, the breakfast is good.
