Looking back over my notes I took at the time I said this property is probably one of the best I've ever stayed in in terms of quality, facilities, cleanliness and room layout. The owners have literally thought of everything a traveller could need. A fully functional kitchen diner with Bosch oven, microwave/grill, fridge freezer which the hosts very kindly stocked with bread and buns and fresh milk, and ice cream in the freezer. There was also a pod-style coffee maker with pods provided and a washing machine cleverly built into its own area in the bathroom. The apartment is in a building with just a few other privately-owned apartments in a quiet part of the town only 10 minutes walk from the centre. There is a bar nearby and some customer chatter could be heard in the evening but that disappeared at night so wasn't a problem. The host was very welcoming and patient with me and my lack of Spanish as we communicated via a translation app. Bedroom and en-suite bathroom were all top notch as well and super comfortable. La Antigua Muralla was a fantastic discovery.

“Superb apartment close to the cathedral”

Fantastic apartment. Small in size but incredibly well laid out and equipped with everything you could need. Ideal for a couple spending a long weekend or even a week and very close to the spectacular cathedral. Burgos is lovely and not especially big so all the main attractions are within walking distance. Many thanks to Montse who was very helpful when it came to getting to the apartment and pointing out where to go.

Very comfortable, fully equipped compact apartment. Very clean and tidy. Literally around the corner from the restaurants, tapas bars, cathedral etc but nevertheless a very quiet location. Host was extremely helpful with everything from the workings of the washing machine to the whereabouts of the nearest supermarket.

Amazing property, lovely host. Had everything you need. Go on pilgrims, book this place and enjoy the space for even one night! Has a washing machine ;-)

The apartment is in a great location, walks up to the castle, and next to the centre. Friendly bars, great nearby bakery and fruit shop. Everything spotlessly clean. Really comfortable place to stay. Will definitely return.

A beautiful, spotlessly clean apartment. It was very well equipped with everything you would for a very comfortable stay. It is in the perfect location for seeing Burgos. Finally Montse was very kind and attentive. She even arranged a car parking space for us. Over all I would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay her again.
