Stayed here many times before -great location, good value, always very clean and love the restaurant /grill . Basic rooms but have all you need.

Lovely quiet location close to the centre. Bar/restaurant on site. We didn't try the restaurant but it looked really good. Great breakfast with the best tostadas with tomate and jamón I've had in a long time. Very clean and everyone friendly

room 101 too noisy

I asked for 2 menu del Dias meals, at €22.50 a head , on check out ,I was charged € 80 euros for the meal. I was not listed too , by the staff. Just try to rob off 2 pensioners. Very disappointed, as I’ve stayed at this hotel , many times.

Its fab food not served till 9pm but soo good.Spotless and warm.

“The perfect place to stay on the quiet edge of Burgos with easy access to the centre”

Because we were driving a hire car this hotel seemed to match my needs for free parking , close proximity to bus stops and also easy access to a railway station as we intended to travel to Madrid by Train one day. The hotel lies on the outskirts of Burgos in a University area and first impressions of the immediate area surrounding the hotel were mixed but as soon as we entered the building I could see that you can't judge a book by it's cover. All the interior was of the highest quality with an abundance of marble, glass and mahogany at no expense spared. The adjoining restaurant was also very well equipped and we later discovered it featured in one of the places to eat guides although we did not eat there. Our room was fitted out to the highest standard and was spotlessly clean. Bus service to town was very frequent and the centre is very easy to walk around.

Our stay at Hotel Azofra was pleasant overall. The room was spacious and very clean, and we really liked the hotel’s unique design — each door is decorated with its own individual artwork, which gives the place a charming and creative atmosphere. The location is great — right next to the university, with lovely areas to walk around, perfect if you’re traveling with a dog. There are plenty of parking spots nearby, which is very convenient. Breakfast was surprisingly large! We expected a typical continental breakfast, but instead, it was à la carte — very generous portions, and everything was tasty, though we couldn’t finish it all.

Tiny room for 70 euro for 1 person in suburbs of Burgos. Doesn’t worth that money. Uncomfortable bad without proper pillow. Very noisy doors and poor sound insulation. No kettle, no cups, no bottle of water. The problem of Burgos is the lack of proper modern hotels. It was my third experience in the town and all accommodation was crap, even though I stayed only in 3*-4* hotels.

Convenient hotel if you are travelling by bike . It is in the way of Santander Mediterranean green road. There are two asador, one of them is Azofra There is one bike shop 2 metres away hotel

The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Did not eat and stayed only 1 night so can’t comment on that. A little bit noisy if your room overlooks the outside seating but there was no noise late at night. Would recommend and would return.

Always our first choice in Burgos if available - good clean standard accommodation, good location on outskirts so easily accessible; good parking and a fantastic authentic restaurant l. Exceptional Good value.

Easy to find and very comfortable. Had a steak type restaurant but else nothing nearby for snacks or coffee etc. There was a bar but not always open. We went in February and were the only ones down for breakfast but it was ok.

The facilities were comfortable and well set up. The hotel provided a storage space for our bikes. The walk to the old city was pleasant.
