A perfect paradise in Siargao! Our stay at Izustarri was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed – the staff was friendly, genuinely helpful, and always smiling. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of bohemian style and modern comfort. Every little detail was clearly well thought out. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere, the quiet surroundings, and the beautiful sea view. Breakfast was delicious – fresh fruits, smoothie bowls, and pancakes that were absolutely mouthwatering. The hotel’s recommendations for activities, scooter rentals, and restaurants were also incredibly helpful. On top of that, we got great tips for exploring General Luna, where we continued our holiday! We accidentally left some clothes in our room when we checked out, but the owner kindly made sure they were delivered to us in General Luna. That made us feel truly cared for and happy! All in all, Izustarri gave us so much more than we expected. This is a place we absolutely want to return to. “A beautiful brutalist location.”

Borja and Daphne could not do more for us during our stay. As their restaurant was unoperational for the 3 nights we booked for they ensured that we were well provided for and went out of their way to make us comfortable and well fed. They even upgraded our room for free as a birthday gift to a stunning sea view suite. In the sunshine it really is a unique and beautiful escape from the bustle of General Luna.

the host diego was absolutly adorable just upon are arival. the staff were very nice and helpfull. the food from the restaurant 10/10. the room was cleaned everyday and had the most beautiful view. borja and dafne were very helpful and so nice. beautiful location would defenitly recomend this place to all.

Izustarri was my favourite hotel of the trip! Such beautiful design, lovely staff, delicious food and incredibly comfortable. The view from the rooftop is next level and the pool is beautiful. There is so much thought and detail that’s gone into everything. The music in the rooftop bar and at breakfast was awesome too. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. I’ll be back ❤️

“Unforgettable few days! We will be back for sure!”

It is incredible place, breathtaking views, comfortable rooms, delicious food at the restaurant and fantastic hospitality. The hotel is just 6 rooms so it feels like your private villa. The rooftop bar serves good cocktails that you enjoy the most when it is raining outside… nothing compares to the view of wild forest in tropical rain or at night when glowworms make the forest looks like a Xmas tree.

Izustarri is a hidden gem—surrounded by jungle and ocean, with stunning views from the room and rooftop. I watched an unforgettable sunset from the terrace. The staff and owners are super friendly and helped organize everything from surf classes to transport. The restaurant and bar are very convenient, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. Peaceful and beautiful, highly recommend!

The views are incredible, both from the room as the rooftop. The rooftop is a dream, the cocktails they offer is really an amazing experience, the fact that it’s only for guests makes is calm and exclusive. The room itself is spacious, super clean and everything you need to unwind fully. We couldn’t use the pool as there was a small problem with the lights but it looked amazing. They offer the best massages for a good price, everything was a dream.

“Tranquility”

Amazing experience staying at this hotel. The location and building provide a perfect feeling of isolation and tranquility once you step into the property. It’s located close to Pacifico/Burgos and has all the comforts you can ask for. The food and staff are amazing, it was a very peaceful stay and was hard to leave. Definitely one of the most unique/impressive places on the island.

We had the best time!! You get everything you need for a perfect getaway! Amazing view!!!! The room was very nice with beautiful balcony. The food was so good and unique! And the staff, they were so kind and welcoming. We really recommend this place! And for yourself, do more than one night!!!

I loved the location amid the rainforest and the sea, plenty of fireflies and a beautiful view of the sky from the rooftop at night . The garage food is very good. The owners and staff very friendly and helpful. A quiet oasis.

Amazing property with great use of space, simple design, tall ceilings. Very helpful to organise anything - food / drinks, yoga, transfers etc. very helpful. We had a wild storm and was great sitting on rooftop bar watching it with a delicious cocktail!
