This hotel in the district Raitenhaslach of Burghausen is set in a historic monastery on the banks of the river Salzach. “Better than expected!”
As the hotel was closed they arranged a room for us at Hotel Burgblick near the middle of town, which was lovely so top marks for service!

“Great location.”
The property is secluded into the Countryside and is an ideal location if you are walking or cycling. The rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean. The staff are polite and helpful and understand English. The place must have some historic significance which I will research on my return to the UK.
