On arrival bar and restaurant closed but the owner rang around for an available table not only did he give the three of us a lift there about 5k he got his son to pick us up later Breakfast was a good variety

Despite initial concerns about its outdated appearance and a faint musty smell in the hallway, my stay at the Steigerwaldhaus turned out to be quite delightful. Additionally, the WiFi worked seamlessly in the room, allowing me to stay connected. Breakfast was a pleasant experience, rounding off my stay on a high note. “Great breakfast”
Very convenient for a 1 night stop on the way to our final destination. Our late arrival (11pm) wasn't a problem, room was fine. Great selection at breakfast!!!

“excellent, would highly recommend!”
this property is about 10 mins from the motorway so completely quiet at night, yet easy access. the beds were extremely comfortable and we managed to all fit in one mini apartment with two big rooms and a huge bathroom. breakfast was really fresh and filling and the owners were really welcoming!

“Traditional hotel & restaurant”
The hotel is located in... Steigerwald and is a local hub for hikers, bikers or cyclists that want to discover the area. Next to that, the hotel is close to highway 3 and perfect for people driving through Germany (like us). We booked our room only 30 minutes before arrival but they expected us and welcomed us with open arms. There is a parking next to the hotel (with some charging stations) and also a little playground (and trampoline) for the smaller kids. The restaurant has a pleasant terrace and a traditional menu (food was simple but good). The shower and beds were fine so we had a good night. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with good choice and all tasted good. So after a perfect night and breakfast, we were good to continue our journey home.

“Great feelings of welcome!”
Peaceful location in amazing beautiful landscape. The host waited for us past midnight, since we had severe problems with traffic jams an the Tauern-Autobahn. Abundant breakfast in countrystyle atmosphere.
