- Beautiful location/building - Very friendly staff - Very tasty dinner - Peacocks roaming around

This is our second time returning to this guesthouse. We especially like its location—it's surrounded by forest. The evening cuisine is excellent

This is truly a wonderful place—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We should definitely come back again in the summer. My mom especially loved it. We were even lucky enough to see a peacock!

The inn is surrounded by gorgeous nature, the staff is absolutely wonderful and did everything to make sure we had a lovely stay ☺️ They serve a delicious breakfast and not to forget their dog Max is the cutest labrador!

Loved everything! The location is very dreamy, authentic and rustic — right in the woods and still well connected if you’re on a road trip down south or up north. The staff is so friendly! I’m celiac, and gluten-free options are available both for dinner and breakfast (even gf Brötchen!) and the food is fantastic! We stayed in Winter, but would love to come back to stay in summer too!

“A gem in a beautiful valley”

This is a fantastic hotel in a location that’s not easy to find unless you’re familiar with the area. Arriving here feels like stepping into another world – there’s something genuine about the place, almost as if time has stood still in the best possible way. As you approach, a picturesque valley opens up with charming half-timbered houses and a well-kept garden. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the authentic atmosphere inside. The dining room was nearly full, which is always a good sign. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. You can drive down to the entrance to drop off or pick up luggage, although parking directly at the hotel is limited. However, there’s a large and convenient parking area at the edge of the valley, connected to the hotel by a covered walkway. The restaurant served great German food, and the staff wore traditional regional clothing, which added a nice touch. Breakfast offered a good selection and was very satisfying.

Everything was perfect. We had a nice stay in this location, close to the forests and with amazing view from our room. The biggest surprise was the peacock that was walking around as an attraction and he was so gentle and friendly not to wake us up early. It was a lovely experience. The breakfast was nice, the staff was friendly and everything was very clean.

Excellent location. Good restaurant with authentic food. Staff was very friendly. We were extremely happy how the breakfast table was pre designed to our needs with the baby chair. ++ 2 car charging stations make it convenient for electric riders.

“Good base for exploring Rothenburg”

Lovely setting, decorated in alpine style. The restaurant is really good, make sure to check it out. Kind staff who accommodated our wishes for our toddler very well. Close to Rothenburg. There even is a little playground for kids.

The location is full os history, it's in the middle of the forest and the place is simply magical! It's a must! Also pretty close to great places to visit like Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
