“Amazing host family!”

Amazing hosts, they truly went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible! We had a family dinner the first night with guitar and singing, then the next day went on a tour of a local coffee farm and reservoir, then all went out for dinner at a BBQ restaurant together. Was the highlight of our trip around Vietnam so far and really made our experience in BMT exceptional!

The hosts are the best and the nicest. Tool us to coffee plantation and to rice fields. They cooked the best meals! rice porridge one day to calm an upset stomach! Very pleasant Around two good places to have Vietnamese breakfast! The one uphill on the same side of the road, with eal was just amazing! And the coffee too. I would go back absolutely!

“The warmest and kindest homestay”

Absolutely amazing homestay, all the previous reviews are 100% true. This is a real place, where since the beginning you don't feel like just a guest, you feel like you came to visit a family. The owners are so warm and kind, but also very funny and we laughed a lot together. They have motorbike to rent (150k/day), you can also join delicious family dinners at very fair price. They always serve with a tip or advice. I also got a little trip around the coffee and pepper farm. But as I said, it does not feel like a service offered by a hotel, but it all feels like an auntie and uncle showing you around or cooking you dinner and making sure you are full. Long story short, I've spent in Vietnam 5 weeks now and have not seen such a warm and kind homestay until now. Totally recommend. Room was really spacious, bed was great (not hard to me at all), mosquito net, filtered water available, warm shower. Also, they welcomed me very early in the morning, when I just arrived by a night bus.

“Such a cultural and social experience”

If you are going to stay in Happy Homestay you have to know that is not a common acomodation where you just sleep. You're going to stay in a house of a Vietnamese lovely family and they are going to open your heart to you, cooking homemade dishes for you, and helping in all that is on their hand to make your time unforgettable and full of love. They are special, an unique humble family, and you will have to be nice with them because they deserve the best of the best!! Thank you for everything, I stayed only a day but it was full of love and nice memories!!

“Amazing stay with a lovely family”

My girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The whole family were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, and we felt right at home straight away. The mother cooked us delicious food everyday for a great price and we loved chatting with them and hearing their stories in the evening - and of course sharing some happy water and singing karaoke. The father took us to see his farm where they’re growing fresh coffee and peppercorns etc. which was really interesting. The location of the homestay is also perfect as it is a short moped ride into town, with they can provide you with. The atmosphere was great the whole time, they’re a very lovely family and were always making us laugh! Cannot recommend enough.

“A beautiful place filled with beautiful people”

This homestay is an incredibly authentic slice of Vietnam and one of the best experiences I have had on my travels so far. Not only did this couple feel like my personal tour guides, they also felt like my friends. Experiences such as farming fresh food that we'd eat later, sharing beer with the locals, farming coffee with the neighbours, watching the farmers in the rice fields, driving through the main roads (and bumpy ones) to visit the waterfalls, drinking the best coffee I have ever had and singing karaoke around the table have enriched my life so much and you honestly can't put a price on such things. Don't worry; be happy is the motto and they really mean it. If you are staying in Buôn Ma Thuột then staying at Happy Homestay should be a priority.

If you are looking for real insight into Vietnam, you can't beat this happy little homestay. This family cares for you as if you were family, they are like the UN of homestays. It feels like the whole world comes to this place to learn and laugh and sing. Yes, you had better get a song ready for when they pull out the karaoke machine

“Lovely homestay”

Fabulous family, comfortable and cool rooms with nice communal areas for getting to know the hosts and other travellers. Out of town so a bit quieter, but still with eateries around. Very welcoming and helpful. Scooters for hire and cheap beer very close by!

The family is so nice, easily my favorite part about visiting this area! They are a very active part of your trip while you're there, if that's what you're interested in. They were more than willing to include me in their day to day life, as well as join me on some of my sight seeing.

The couple who run it were so helpful, and friendly. I got to see some local agriculture nearby, and taste the produce,, heard their music and singing, and am very grateful for the assistance with getting a bus from BMT to DaLat. Having a mosquito net over the bed was good, and the bed was comfortable.

Hosts are very kind, friendly. They show us many local hidden spots and things to do. The man took us to see rice fields, coffee fields and waterfalls. They also teach us about vietnamese culture.

Everything ! The people, the kindness, the food. I stayed 2 night and I’ll come back for sure. What’s a beautiful home stay ! They helped me because my bus was canceled, they found another one for me early in the morning. What do I need to say just : go !!! It’s one of the best experience you’ll have in Vietnam I promise !
