My host Lorraine was a perfect host. She was very warm and welcoming. Her recommendations of dining out and attractions were available personally, in the room and also at reception. Her entire property is almost palatial without being pretentious. Her attention to detail is extraordinary. The bedroom was so spacious, and the comfort of the bed and linen was exceptional. The view from the bedroom overlooked an expansive very well-maintained garden. Catching the sun. The breakfast was delightful; there was a huge range of choice. Freshly squeezed juice , pastries, fruit etc and a full cooked breakfast. This was my second visit, and I will be returning for many more years to come. I believe a score from 1-10 is limiting, a personal score of 11 would be more fitting ! Deirdre Kavanagh

I had a wonderful stay at Rossmanagher House. The room was clean, confortable, making easy to relx after a long day. The location was convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and i would definitely stay here again!

My daughter and I were welcomed with genuine warmth the moment we arrived. Even with its interior of gorgeous grandeur, Rossmanagher House feels cosy, homely, and very much like a family home. Lorraine is a wonderful host—attentive, thoughtful, and full of fantastic recommendations for local sights, restaurants, pubs, and scenic walks. She truly went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met. We stayed for three nights in Room 4, which was exceptionally spacious, with a huge, comfortable bed, a sitting area, and a large bathroom. The view overlooked the tree-lined driveway and the field where horses graze, carefully watched over by two gorgeous sheepdogs. It was such a peaceful scene to wake up to each morning. Breakfast was more than ample, with fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit, and a full Irish cooked by Lorraine herself. She happily caters for vegetarians on request. We were so well fed in the mornings that we often didn’t even need lunch afterward! Rossmanagher House is a true gem—elegant yet welcoming, with hospitality that feels personal and genuine. We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.
